Really cool to see different tools being used for similar techniques! Everytime I see a new video get posted I always hope it's for a mermaid tail blanket tutorial but thankfully I'm preoccupied with making my 7 foot Harry Potter scarf 😊
With the crank one, I have a vintage one that was used for making toys. It takes some getting use to, but God does it save you time if you have projects you have to get done.
thank you so much for that video I have one the same exact one that you have try to figure it out for a very long time and once I saw they you had a video I had to watch it
How do you keep the cord from curling when using the double-ended spool? I've used that exact one and knitted exactly the way you demonstrated. I've even taken everything apart and started over multiple times, adjusting tension and wrapping in different ways. It curls every time. Can you please help me?
Hi, Can you share a video using this loom to make an icord with a swivel lobster clasp attached to make wristlets, keychains, and purse straps. Thank you
Thanks a lot for your super-video!!!! In my case, I prefer this gizmo to do I-chords than the two needles. I am very bad with needles, I am pretty bad a needle tatting, and the same is for knitting. But gizmos and knitting machines, they are very different, and I had done things that for me are impossible with the needles. And that other cranking gizmo, I got one and was a piece of crap, the chord never formed, and after several weeks trying it, broke the handle, and I got tired of it, melted the gizmo, got the 4 metal needles, trashed the left over, and now I have 4 latch tools for my Brother KH-970 knitting machine!!!! 4 latch tools for 16.00 USD, not bad. Thanks again
If you're looking for an easy project for kids to do you can make these with tape a paper towel roll (empty cardboard cylinder) and some popsicle sticks!
What happens if you accidentally drop a stitch when using the loom? It looks like it would be a pain to fix. Any guidelines on what to do if that happens?
ohhhhh... that is so nice and convenient. I have a spool loom too but I was just not able to get the I cord right. thank you so much! p.s. do you know french?

USA have some great knitting tools. I'd love a spool, zippy loom and a sentro. They don't sell these in UK.
I forgot! Long time ago I took knitting class .!!

Hi Studio Knit! I was wondering if you know the name if the yarn that is sponge material...I'm making heart sponges for valentine's day!
When U knit the I cord, do U join it after to make it round?
When I was growing up we used something called a Knitting Knobby (which had only 4 posts, though).
That’s for winding yarn or thread though
