Well, they kinda went that way with Noonday but I doubt he'll ever make that kind of record again. Although who knows what he'll come up with next, for all we know he'll make a disco record 😂
Wonder what he means about being glad he didn’t go in that direction. It’s very Noonday Dream which was the record after IFWWW so unsure what he means. It’s incredible.
I enjoy most of Ben's work but this kind of sound somewhere in-between IFWWW and Noonday is where he's at his best for me. Noonday Dream get's seriously overlooked as an album, I couldn't get into it when it first released but it's arguably his most artistically focused/locked in alongside IFWWW.
@@fiddybux4898 Yeah Noonday is my favourite. The songs that came out of him around that time are like nothing else I’ve heard. The Another Friday Night EP is unreal. Sounds otherworldly.
I think it means that he was leaning towards a ND style album at the time of IFWWW but I guess the Bond brothers nudged him towards the slightly less 'ambient' style IFWWW became. After parting ways with them he fully embraced that direction. I agree that this 'in between' style might just be the sweet spot!
@@ArgonautsMusicalTravellings Ahhh, I thought he meant he wrote this after IFWWW. It certainly sounds like it with his style of singing. I’ll have to check the credits when I’ve got time to see who produced it etc for an indication.
SG's are incredibly versatile guitars, love that beautiful white finish. I also love how he's playing a right handed model with the strings back to front like Jimi Hendrix did with his Strats :)
Right? It was the same in Bournemouth last night. Cool to see everyone paying attention, but I looked around me and nobody else was even swaying or bobbing their head, it was bizarre!
Thanks for the upload, this song was mesmerising live. The wall of sound, visuals, the sweeping 'noise'. Hit me like a truck
Bob Hall’s drumming in this is absolutely incredible
The man and the legend. Love all his songs.
Damn this is soo powerful live! ❤
Thank you for this great recording. This song is stunning live, I was blown away at Bristol and Plymouth.
Better if I was there but grateful to be watching this. Thank you for posting tonight!
🖤
Omg…. What slamming and powerful sound….
So glad someone captured this. It was the highlight of the night for me. Thank you!
Oh how are you feeling,
With my hands of course.❤❤❤
Thanks for recording. I did start recording but was getting so into it so stopped so glad i can relive this
Damn, i wish this was the way they went!

Ben with a Gibson SG, who would've thought? He makes any guitar look cool though 😂

With P90’s as well, looks and sounds mint
How?
The crowd seems dead. What a shame
