This is such a beautiful but also powerful video Chris. As you said, we all have our struggles but it's how we learn from them & move on its what's important. My motto in life for when I've been struggling has always been "this is temporary, just a bump in the road". I've always been grateful that I had that resilience and strength. It's a blessing for sure. I'm glad you're now in such a good place and can lo9k back and appreciate the wisdom you gained.❤ Something too I wanted to add is i believe going thru the bad helps us see when things are truly "good" and greatly appreciate those things. I honestly don't know if we'd have as deep of an appreciation if we didn't have the comparison. (Just got to the end & you said exactly what I was saying. Lol. My husband is to me what Jay is to you. We're 32 yrs in & going strong.
Great to learn more about Cris the Girl! When I graduated college I moved to Cagan Crossing also and worked part time at Disney. After 2 years I bought a house across 27. I always shop at Walmart though, rarely Publix. I’m cheap. 😂

Really loved this video Cris. It takes a lot to be open and vulnerable like that when talking about your past, especially when it may have not been so bright. I have been thinking of doing something similar to this soon (visiting where I grew up I mean, I haven’t been there in over 30 years) and hearing you and Jay’s experience with this video has really got me focused on doing it sometime soon. I spotted the Frank Lloyd Wright Spire you highlighted in one of your videos from..."back in the day." Having never been on that corner, I exclaimed, "Oh I know this, Cris was here." What a great video friend! Thanks for talking about all of the aspects of working as a cm. College was a struggle for me for many of the same reasons. Deciding between gas or food, depression, negative people, working a job I hated to pay the bills. Those bad things lead us to the awesome people and situations we find ourselves in the present. It all led me to the awesome people (including you and Jay) I have met a long the way and the awesome things I am blessed to experience. Thanks for sharing Cris.

Life's ups & downs of counting coins, sleeping in your vehicle, or crashing on a friend's couch build strong goals! A gypsy soul, living in a caravan, my kinda girl lol. Due 2 my job I live in a caravan 10 months out of the yr traveling 4 my contract work. Not all that wonder are lost! You have done well, your goals are developing, and you have many people sending out great vibes, supporting u & Tampa Jay. Some tears back my husband st the time went to Tracie trailer school. He stated in apartment provided by school while I lived in my car for a month. Luckily I had friends who let me shower and get a bite to eat

Ah the growing pains. Sometimes they can be harder on some than others. But as long as we grow from them and don't beat ourselves up because of them we should be able to come thru it. And most importantly, we should not dwell on them. Learn to respect the bad along with the good and never let it make you bitter, just wiser. That's what makes the difference on being happy or sad, being able to let the pain go. Lastly, never compare your life to anyone else's. We have our own journey to go threw. You will never know why someone gets the lions share of happiness from birth to death and others not so much. You can only learn what works for you. I have been thinking of doing something similar to this soon (visiting where I grew up I mean, I haven’t been there in over 30 years) and hearing you and Jay’s experience with this video has really got me focused on doing it sometime soon. Can't wait till you do your Arizona vid. Having just been down there a month back, we were headed to ... of course the best not-really fast food burger joint in America, In-N-Out in Scottsdale. I spotted the Frank Lloyd Wright Spire you highlighted in one of your videos from..."back in the day." Having never been on that corner, I exclaimed, "Oh I know this, Cris was here." So thank you for that, and thank you for this. There's a saying, "Man is not great because he's not failed; Man is great because he's not let failure stop him!" And you quite live up to that!

What a great video friend! Thanks for talking about all of the aspects of working as a cm. College was a struggle for me for many of the same reasons. Deciding between gas or food, depression, negative people, working a job I hated to pay the bills. Those bad things lead us to the awesome people and situations we find ourselves in the present. It all led me to the awesome people (including you and Jay) I have met a long the way and the awesome things I am blessed to experience. Thanks for sharing Cris.

Life's ups & downs of counting coins, sleeping in your vehicle, or crashing on a friend's couch build strong goals! A gypsy soul, living in a caravan, my kinda girl lol. Due 2 my job I live in a caravan 10 months out of the yr traveling 4 my contract work. Not all that wonder are lost! You have done well, your goals are developing, and you have many people sending out great vibes, supporting u & Tampa Jay. Some tears back my husband st the time went to Tracie trailer school. He stated in apartment provided by school while I lived in my car for a month. Luckily I had friends who let me shower and get a bite to eat

One thing, I work for a library and I am so sorry you experienced that issue with being turned away from getting a library card. That's ridiculous! If anything they should've worked something out with you, very sad and shocking. anyways, thanks for another great video! 💞

Ah the growing pains. Sometimes they can be harder on some than others. But as long as we grow from them and don't beat ourselves up because of them we should be able to come thru it. And most importantly, we should not dwell on them. Learn to respect the bad along with the good and never let it make you bitter, just wiser. That's what makes the difference on being happy or sad, being able to let the pain go. Lastly, never compare your life to anyone else's. We have our own journey to go threw. You will never know why someone gets the lions share of happiness from birth to death and others not so much. You can only learn what works for you. You know I only just started watching your videos, as off Halloween 2022, and let me just say that, when you've shared your moments, which were obviously traumatic memories for you, i was right there crying with you because it brought back some horrible memories of my own. I truly hope that you get to a place that makes those horrible times go away. You seem like such a great person, and i wish you all the best.
