1969 Boss 302 is my fave Stang... Had two 69 Mach 1s but loved the Boss. The 4 headlight 69 made it look meaner than 2 light 70.

The First Big Time Total Bull Sh__ Rules imposed by your favorite Enthusiast Group, the Freakin Government that didn't have anything else to do but F with the Headlights on the 70 Mustang, of course there wasn't any Riots over desegregation or Vietnam or Rising Energy costs because even back then the Government I mean Enthusiast Group had to buy Oil From the Countries that bilked us out of billions of dollars back then AND the Greenies said Get the Lead out too because the Planet's Atmosphere was going to H all the way back then, WHAT don't people with Common Sense get about the Fact that the Icebergs are Still Here and gas only has 93 octane at the Pumps Etc Etc Etc and on and on, but they Got the Headlights Changed on the 70 Mustang! Boy Our Government is the best and now we have Bidumbomics trying to take the ICE away because they have Nothing better to mess with and Skim Mucho Money off.
MUSCLE CARS are the Target and Have been since the Late 60s. I own a 22 HEMI Challenger 6 Speed Manual and Freaking Love it, please Everyone Stand up for our Hobby because they Just Canned the Hemi!!!!
Oh and I Forgot my Challenger a 2022 has Four Headlights that would have probably caused a Civil War had they had this technology back then!!!!!
Sorry for the Satire but when the 69 Mustang Lost those Headlights on the 70, I was Forced to buy a Used 69 Mach one 428 4 speed for my FIRST CAR because the New ones, the 70 looked Terrible in my opinion But they have grown on me - LOL

We're all equal, it's just that some are more equal than others. That executive got what he wanted. The assembly line must have had a great time that day! lol

My favorite Stang other than the 65 Shelby GT350 is the 69-70 BOSS 302. I'd love to own a 68 1/2 Mustang 428 CJ or a BOSS 429 but the small block Stangs handled much better. I would actually take a Cougar Eliminator BOSS 302 over a BOSS 302 Stang because the Cougar's are way more rare and also a much nicer car overall than a Mustang. My aunt had a fully loaded 69 Cougar XR7 that she bought brand new but hers was a 351 4bbl with a 4 speed. Beautiful car. Really comfortable car but also pretty fast

Talking about the cost of Cars I had my 1969 Mach I in for service back in 1971 the dealer had a 1969 Shelby GT 500 on the lot! This car had some slight body damage but the car was listed for $2599.00. I was real tempted to buy it, If it had a 351 I would have drove it away. I just never had a love for an FE engine!

Yeah, in August of 2015 : $50,000. Now in 2018, irrational exuberance is back. 1 of 1 w/full documentation and award-winning restoration: $90,000 or more in the right room. Beautiful example...with AIR!

Pffft, 90K for a 1/1 like that!? I bet they try n squeeze 150K+ for something like that, especially considering it's documentation. Sigh. I just want a real (original, no Elanor bullshit) 1967 Shelby GT-500, White w Blue racing stripes plz + ty

Great car and nice to see Tom again. This really was one of the greatest shows. If you have a chance check out the Muscle Car Shootout from Dream Car Garage: ruclips.net/video/T-PZ7TJXmT0/видео.html
Hopefully, Peter (and/or Gary) will do something similar on the current show. Would be great to see a larger group of cars have a similar shootout using the LMC inventory.

Had to be close to 350...maybe more. The Z28 Camaro's and AAR Cuda/Challenger T/A both made alot more than 290 horsepower also
