Absolutely. The 68-70 Charger and 70-71 Cuda/Challenger are the best looking muscle cars ever built imo. But I'm a Mopar fanatic so I'm biased lol. GM and Ford had some beautifully styled
      cars in that era too

@@jeremythompson9122 I love that you admit you're biased! Not many people would admit that. They are beautiful cars though, you aren't wrong. My favorite Charger I've ever seen was on Vanguard motor sales, it was all blue, black interior and a white tail stripe. It looks amazing. It's still on here.. It was a 68 if you want to look for it! I never liked the Cuda until about a week ago when I saw one just like this on Vanguard's channel. Now I have to have one lol. There are a ton of beautiful old cars. My favorite is a grabber blue 71-72 Roadrunner. A couple months ago I saw one lllike that on that Vanguard channel and it became my favorite car ever. 2 weeks ago I was at work and had to get a meter reading off a doctor's office and I saw some ugly ass new Maclaren and I started laughing and I said out loud that I cannot wait until I have my grabber blue Roadrunner so I can pull up next to people who drive shit like that Maclaren and laugh at them. I shit you not, 5 minutes later I went down a street I don't normally go down at work and there sat a 1971 grabber blue Roadrunner in great shape! Got some pictures of it. That was around 9 am. At about noon or 1 pm that same day I had a feeling in my gut telling me to go back there so I did. The owner was outside, showed me the car and said in the next couple years he wants to sell it! I said that's funny because in the next couple years I want to buy my first old muscle car so he gave me his number and said see you in a couple years! The guy lives 65 miles away and just happened to be visiting his daughter that day. Hadn't been on that street in months and the one day I do, only because of traffic and I run into it AND have his number! I still can't get over it. There may very well not be another Roadrunner in grabber blue from 71-72 within a thousand miles of Chicago in hlthat nice if shape! There may be a couple more, but I doubt it. I've only ever seen one GTX from that same period ever in person around here at a show. Never a roadrunner from those couple years and definitely not in grabber blue! Wild!

Sweet ! Reminds me of the 71 Cuda from the 1979 horror film "Phantasm". The production company added pinstripes, rear wheel flares, and a sunroof for filming. In real life the Cuda was a factory 340 4 speed car, made to look like a Cuda 440 6 pack. Unfortunately, the car vanished after production -- and never seen again.

There were four cars made to make that movie, the better car, for close up shots survived and was seen in another movie, in the background of a used car lot! I forget the name of the movie but it came out about 1984 or so, and the car lot was a quick scene in the movie but it was definitely the Phantasm 'cuda, pin stripes, flares and Cragers!

The desirability of these cars is a result of Chrysler positioning them as a "cheaper" alternative to the more attractively marketed Challenger of those years. Consequently, fewer were built as consumers didn't want a factory 383, 4 speed Cuda for $3200. Add A couple more hundred bucks, and you had the Challenger. Or if you went with Cuda and added another $880, and you had a 425 HP Hemi powered CUDA for $4 grand. It would snap your neck off the line.
Back then, this was 25% of the car's price, so only more affluent buyers ordered the Hemi Engine, again adding to the rarity of these beautiful automobiles.
Now, numbers matching, they are selling for the hundreds of thousands of dollars, if not millions.

A 71 Hemi Cuda Convertible sold for 3.5 million at an auction back in 2014. The most valuable muscle car there is are 70-71 Hemi Cuda convertibles. There were 14 built in 1970 and only 7 built in 1971

I'd still rather have that 71. Back when power was made mechanically instead of by a computer. The cars they build today will never be around in 50 years. Way too much electronics and computer technology in them now. That shit just doesn't last. Way too many things that can go wrong. Once you start having computer issues with a vehicle it's nothing but a headache with it from then on even if you replace the computer itself. They're pretty much junk after that or a bottomless money pit
