Frysky should have made an Opentx surface radio, years ago.. when they were almost the only option for an Opentx radio. Startup looks familiar on this particular radio, pages too :D
Great find. Not a crawler, so not for me. But i like the suspension system that is the same as the Hummer. Don't forget to check the shipping fees before ordering...😱
I have reviewed a lot of those, but this car is different and has a more scale independent suspension. The others like WLToys, HBX etc have basher / buggy style suspension, it's way different. Thanks 👍🏻
@@hofsplace This product is based on the DongFeng Mengshi (Warrior) 3rd Generation Assault Vehicle. This is quite a substantial vehicle in real life and consequently, it is going to be much bigger than a model of a Land Rover Defender or Ford Bronco when reproduced at the same scale.
very interesting, but some of the design decisions are baffling: 1) it's more than fine to use plastic for suspension arms, but those are paper thin! 2) speaking of too thin, all the drive shafts/dogbones are too flimsy 3) what's the point of portals if you're gonna put the a-arms where they'd go anyway without portals, negating the benefits? (other than some extra gear reduction, i guess) 4) that steering assembly sticks way, waaay too forward. *) not that it matters, as 'scale' has become a borderline meaningless number, unfortunately, but this is closer to UTB18 "18th scale" than TRX4M actual 1/18 scale decent first effort, but desperately needs a V2
@@hofsplace yeah, they chose quite an interesting layout as their first effort, but it seems decent enough great to hear they're working on a V2. with a torquier motor and some of the issues fixed, i'd definitely get one!
I was interested in getting one to use the body on another project, until I saw AliExpress wants $68 for shipping on a $120 purchase. That's a big no thanks

Nice Fengdong Warrior, according to what I found it is 15 cm width so that means it is 1/14 scale

Davvero molto performante...bel video... ciao dall'Italia

Indeed. I bought it with high shipping, but arrived very quickly as i wanted it
Have you never seen anything from HBX or WLToys? Its not the first 1/18 with front and rear independent suspension, nice video though

hi gus,I am the ege warrior's desiner, can we talk about the ditails.
Hi, yes, would love to do that. Email: hofsplace@gmail.com
Thank you for the nice Video - can you show us a size comparison with TRX-4M or CR18? - Is it the same size or much wider?
It's a bit bigger, more a 1/16 - 1/14 scale.
@@hofsplace thank you - I am out then ;)

decent first effort, but desperately needs a V2
I've talked to the manufacturer already and they are going to make a v2. So normally they are in Transmitters, but there first attempt is pretty good

Interesting vehicle. Do you know the wheel hex size and if the diff gears are plastic or metal?
Hi, the hex is 5.0. In the the portals they are metal.
Main gears are plastic, but very wide an chunky
Ok. I was hoping they were 7mm. Thank you.
Just checked. It's 7mm. I had another car in mind
@@hofsplace Ok great! Thank you!
Is it a toy car for kids!? Or for any special/specific use!? 👍
It can be used by young and adult drivers...😉 It's hobby grade, not toy grade. It's a bit allround

It's available in banggood
Bloody hell.!!
That's ridiculous.!!
