I believe this tool would be amazing for a vehicle engine fire you can use your halligan bar spike to poke a hole then stick the nozzle in with the shield setting

We have used the attack spikes through grills, through hoods into the engine compartment... always an option due to their smaller diameter.

In 1970, maybe so. But the front fascia of every modern vehicle being some form of plastic, engine compartment access is not an issue, especially with cables connected directly to the hood latch. Simply pull the entire cable assembly and the hood will pop. Even in that absence, modern crumple zone requirements make it extremely easy to bow the hood exactly halfway between the latch and hinges. Unless you have six men on an engine company, and the ability to pull two separate attack lines (1 with this gadget and one with a real nozzle) this is a solution looking for a problem.
What I learned from the video was that we are supposed to bring this toy to bore a hole through the roof, which is already penetrated by vents and roof jacks which are quite easily removed. I have yet to see a roof that cannot be managed with a k-12 saw, which is a much more value than a specialty nozzle.

Try a window to wet down a room and a hole through the ceiling to wet down an attic. Being on the roof of a burning building defies logic and common sense. I didn't even need my mother to tell me that! Basement? Through a window or through the floor.
That small amount of water into a burning space will take way too much time to eliminate the steam producing flames. It will take too long to cool the space. You need a window to allow the gasses to escape from the interior and away from the rest of the structure.
This has an incredibly small amount of applications where it would be better than a hose. I wouldn't tie up a line with it so that would make it slow to respond. Keep thinking though. Few bother to.

JB91710 this has been successful in attics of a 1300 sq ft home in less than two minutes. The droplet size converts and cools almost immediately - per our measurement data.

The attic approach is used for training and assessment. While some departments like the approach from above for application from a ladder, we are (also) more comfortable coming from underneath.

@@flashpointequipment9713 Two minutes? That doesn't take into consideration fire extension and victim survival. You can walk up to a window and eliminate the flames in 2-3 seconds and soak the materials in 3-5 seconds if the water is applied correctly. 99.99% of fire fighters would do it incorrectly. Fix that and the job gets done fast.

@@flashpointequipment9713 Vertical Venting and fire suppression from the roof makes no sense at all. There isn't one video on RUclips that explains how VVing works besides, "Heat Rises." and what sounds good on paper. They only teach how to cut holes.

@@flashpointequipment9713 This is a phrase I created to make FFers change their attitude towards what fire fighting should be.
"Extinguish all Visible Burning Material as Fast and Safe as possible while using the least amount of water." Before going inside to Search, Rescue and mop up.
Think long and hard about that. The Key is Protection for everyone and everything involved. Combustion of material is the Enemy. Stop combustion Now!
You can get Tank Water water on VBM through a window and eliminate the threat before a team can be assembled, get fully dressed and get the door open.
