I'm beatboxing for around 2.5 years now, and have been and still am learning some of his signature sounds. Just to give you an idea of the absolute madness of what we are seeing here, I'll break down some of his sounds and the time it takes to learn them: - D-low scratch: 4/10 difficulty. Easy to get the idea, takes some time to get it clean. The combos D-low does are 7/10 due to speed and the time it takes to get the muscles to get used to it. - D-low zipper: 10/10 difficulty. Very hard to get the basic idea. Even harder to get it consistent. Personally, I'm on it for 6 months now. It took me 4 months to get decent with it. Now I can do it with 85% accuracy, but there's still times where it just comes out terrible. How he found this sound? I have no clue since it's really tricky to get the right spot. - Slizzer roll: 8/10 difficulty. (I'm biased here, for me, this sound is ridiculously difficult.) Not his original sound, but he can do it really clean. 3+ months to learn I'd say (although some people get it faster, and some, like myself, take 6+ months xD) - Bubble roll: 10/10 difficulty. I'm not 100% sure if D-low invented it, but he certainly made it popular. And he can do it so clean, which is just silly hard to get. It requires the Slizzer roll as a basis, so you get the idea. How he figured out the sound in the first place is beyond me. - Inward bass: 8/10 difficulty. Relatively easy to get the basic concept. But takes months of practice to develop it and get it consistent. - Electro liproll: 7/10 difficulty. Again, not terribly difficult to get the basics, but to get it clean and be able to pitch it takes at least 2 months. - D low zipper + slizzer roll combo: 20/10 difficulty. I believe this is the most difficult sound in the beatbox world to exist, currently. I can't even give you a timeframe because I have yet to get this sound, after 6+ months of practice, I have not gotten it down. And D-low invented this, too. This is just a selection of sounds - he was able to do all of these in 2015. Most beatboxers can't do them in 2022. This is why he's truly the GOD OF BEATBOX.
the amount of time and energy he put mastering his craft is just unreal. I cant even do slizzer roll and it annoys me so much :^) and other sounds as well. Im happy w my vibration bass rn which i need to hone it to be more clean and bassy
Alem, my Beatboxing Brother.... You have such amazing positive energy my Dude!!! All the time it seems. Mad big Ups and respect for you man. You and Colaps both man, Two True Great Representatives for our family consisting of the united beatbox community. You both make me Proud to be a Beatboxer.... And then we have D Low.. Another consummate representation and literal Icon of our musical genre.
Thank you Alem for reactions to d-low's video! I'm so excited again 😂. From legendary battles to shout-outs. It's great to hear it again and again.and it made me realise that he is a legend after all🔥
I come back nearly every other day for a listen because I love D-Low so much as well as Alem! But it's hilarious (a little at least) every single time when Alem says "I forgot this video/battle/round" xD
I really love the positive energy that you radiate from your videos. I have this video playing as I'm doing my chores, and it feels like we're in the same room listening to the same videos.
This was SO much fun to watch with you Alem! It's fun to go back and watch where these guys came from and how much they've improved over the years. I would love to see a Codfish one too! Would be cool if you went back and included some of his BunnyF1uff stuff too. ❤
Damn can't believe this. Dan had like 34k subs back then and he recently became the uk champ. But becoming the greatest beatboxer is just insane. And to be their since the beginning of his career is just a great journey!!
I think it was a great format, and you should do it for all the recent GBB champs. Definitely do videos for: Napom codfish Colaps You could also do others like: Gene Kenny urban Dharni
I've only been watching beatboxing for under a year, so I haven't caught a lot of the "startings" of the goats of this day. Even watching the first routine shown in this video fucking blew my mind. God, he's just insane.
Feel in love with beatbox with your battle versus Skiller 9 years ago, been amazing to see the evolution of everyone in the community. Keep up the great work and energy!!!
omg ce franglais est absolument parfait tout au long de la vidéo ptdr (Français) omg this frenglish is absolutely perfect throughout the video lol (translate in english)
@ALEM 😳😳😳...this could be like the National Geographic of beatboxers lol, Alem that's some solid and plentiful content. Documentaries of Jedi masters made by a Jedi master!...how would Yoda say it..? - Judge me by my beat do you?
Merci.
Thanks for that video 🙏
Big respect to you Alem 🤜

I didn't even know the slizzer roll and bubble roll were so difficult for others, they were like the first sounds I learned when I started beatboxing
I can only do his bubble roll and scratch others are like alien language to me
@@pentime4431 the slizzer roll is very difficult I do not understand the position of the tongue and which part has to vibrate
Woahhh the title looks cool!!! I'm already excited
