I've always shied away from those full scene type of stamps, not really knowing how to use them, and thinking they were pretty one dimensional in terms of what you could make with them. Thanks for showing me how to layer the colour and use the versamark to preserve the original base and add additional details and colour. Wow, that was amazing and what a piece of art you created. I also liked the winter scene. It changed the whole look of the stamp. Your video was also very easy to watch and listen to.
I have never seen this before but I love it! it's gorgeous and having a stamp that is an entire scene is genius. will definitely have to check out penny blacks site
Another beauty! I have some similar stamps from years ago, but they are wood mounted stamps. One of the things that make this work, of course, is the MISTI (which, luckily, I have!). So . . . I think I may have to have one of these gorgeous stamps. Using the method of stamping, and then heat embossing before adding the other colors really makes for a very artistic scene! I think I can do this!
Just amazing how you do the clear embossing and then do the background.. It just comes alive !!! Thanks so much for sharing... I may have to try this... I have one stamp set so I think I will try....
This is beautiful, I'm just a begginer stamper and I just finished making this. Very please with the outcome. Thank you so much for the great instructions, very much appreciated.
ongoing. I watched the entire thing with my mouth open, because I have to admit, I was a bit doubtful about these stamps when I saw them in the catalogue. but I am over the top impressed. thank you for sharing this technique with us.
Love this card. Just purchased yesterdays scenic stamp and you know where I'm going next. Thank you for the tutorial gave me so many ideas with your tips.
Just subscribed! Your stamps are amazing!! This one especially because ive been getting bored of doing the same thing over and over. I cannot wait to try this technique! Im actually ordering it on another tab! What ink blenders are you using please? And, will you be making more of these types of stamp for spring and summer? I'd buy them all! Thank you!

Thanks for watching! I don't have the Zigs myself but would definitely give them a try as I have seen others use them directly on their stamps with great success. Happy stamping! -Jill
Wow! What a neat way to color such a detailed stamp! Clear embossing over already stamped/colored image to get to the background is so cool!!!!
I love scenery stamps! and I see how the MISTI is must have to layer the colors so beautifully!
Thank you for sharing Jill. Such a lovely scene bought to life by your artistic hands! x
