Great vid Jonathan. A couple of updates … 116520 came out in 2000 (not 2002). The power reserve on the 4130 (116520 and 116500) is 72 hours (not 54). I think all 4130s were also calibrated to +/- 2 secs per day accuracy. The 4130 was also the first to have the parachrome hairspring and bearing rotor. Still the best chrono movement on the market despite being a 23-year old design.

      Hi Jonathan
At 6’5” tall I find the Daytona a bit teeny for my size
Any recommendations to Rolex to increase case size
      Will they listen to us?

I think to truly deep dive into Daytona line-up you would need a good couple hours of this format in order to cover a vast amount of them and I mean the ones that were mass produced (excluding limited series etc). Personally, I like steel ones (both pre 2016 and post 2016) with black dials, but platinum with the brown bezel and sub dials is probably my number one favourite and a dream that may never come true. But who knows lol

To be honest with you I love the new Daytona with the ceramic bezel but just like a new Ferrari versus an old Ferrari in 10 years maybe 20 but definitely 20 the stainless steel basil is going to be worth more money more classic

Good point. The classic Daytona is a wonderful watch in any metal. For me 18ct yellow gold, white index dial and a brown alligator is the one.
