Hi lovelies, today it is another really simple pie recipe and I am super excited to share this one with you! :) I created this recipe about a month ago and I have made it already 5 times since :D Yes! They are that good! :) And also super quick and easy to make. Todays recipe for crunchy apple pie bites was inspired by a request from a subscriber who requested an apple strudle recipe. I will also make that apple strudle, but until then I thought I'd share this really delicious quick to make recipe that reminds me of apple strudle. Happy Baking Lovelies!
Ingredients:
(makes 24 little apple pie bites)
- 4 apples, sweet
- 3 tbsp sugar (can also be left out)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 100g (1 cup) almondmeal/hazelnutmeal
- 50g (1/4 cup) raisins (optional)
- 1 egg/milk/water for brushing the apple pie bites
- 3 sheets of phyllo pastry (cut each one into 8 pieces, total of 24)
Bake the apple pie bites in 200°C (390°F) for 15-20 minutes or until beautifully golden.
