CO2 vs Diode is really a question of strategy, what materials you are specializing in? How much of it etc.... Not that simple to make it a replacement but interesting concept.

I never really understood their concept of power-switching, you can just find the best settings on the higher power. Otherwise you have to remember which power you used...
