Nelson, I have found the endgame videos to be very valuable. Learning about opposition has been huge! I executed a really nice rook and king checkmate that I never would have found before. I just passed 800 and attribute a lot of it to you and your videos, they have been my best recourse! Thank you!
That caused a double -take to realize you were playing Vlastimil Jansa. I can recall playing through his games in the 70s and 80s. How cool that he's still at it. BTW, the Morra Gambit is a good one, I think much more suited to your style. I'd recommend getting Marc Esserman's book on it: it's pretty much the Morra Bible.
2:57:10 White does not have a move than defends both the knight and the f2 square in that puzzle, but they do have Qc3, witch guards both the knight and the rook. So what happens after d3, Qc3? I guess we still play Qf2+, and i guess black can win all the pawns in front of the white king. Just saying they could defend the ROOK. Just nice to show also why that variation also wins for black.
Hello nelsi sir , my rapid Rating is now 679 and I got my second brilliant move ❤😊thank you so much. It is because of you that I was able to achieve this.
3:39:30 Not to defend that player, the rating difference is suspisious. But this mistake with rook is very possible to understand with that they are used to the bullet format but not yet that good at bullet, so this guy almost premoves and thinks on your time, so he create plans in their head. So they played Rc3+ as planned without thinking about/noticing that you opened defence at that square with the pawn move. Also they played the rook to c1 and took pawn with rook fast because they plan things, they try to hard think on your time to pressure you on time... Also rating difference does not mean everything. On lichess i am 1850 in rappid, but i dont manage to climb from 1250 in blitz. Doing to many blunders on lower time frame because i dont have a high number of games and is calculation heavy, but slow in that prosess, so also loosing many games on time. Also i note that many of the game you loose, there is a gambit or a piece sacrifice, and often there follows a high time consumption to figure out the attack. Also the possitions become very hard to play. I also play gambits but often i loose in a similar manner in those games. I think the smith mora game no.2 in this stream illustrates how hard it can be to acctually find the right attacking moves after sacrifices. So i think that kind of game can trigger that there are many losses, but i also thinks they are good for learning and content. Just sometimes your sacrifices are sometime quite wild or very unclear if they are sound.. and then ofc if your opponent manages to defend well.. then they are hard to win. Not to forget that many players have good intuition. Perhaps this sweedish player have good intuition and dont like to calculate to much, and then just in this fast playing style, there are some mistakes. But the oponent has to see them, obviously this player did many mistakes but saw the fork on f7 from far, so it goes to show they do have a good eye for their own attacking ideas.
I am a doctor who also has gout! If you explained to your doctor your theory about gout and covid they would probably say they are unrelated. However, I am also a mathematician/engineer/statistician and understand that if two things that are rare happen at the same time that they might be related. There is so much we do not know about biochemistry and physiology there is no way a doctor can be certain that they are not related. The mathematician in me says that they probably were.
I would have to consider things like family history first, but there were too many instances of new onset health problems in post- Covid patients to completely rule out any correlation. My own experience with this was decreased tear production.
There are so many so called triggers for gout but no one can actually pin point anything I get gout so randomly that it would be impassible to Attribute it to anything But starting on allopurinol and taking omega 3 has reduced flare ups a lot. I also have had blood clots that cannot be explained.
it's great that you have change your eating habits hat can do a lot for your heath / I have to which what I eat as I have cancer it is under control pineapple pears watermelon are all god
Love your work! Keep it up! It's great to hear all the positive health changes you've made. I highly encourage you to look into vaccines if you haven't yet. RFK is not a kook. He supports his argument with research. Every parent should research vaccines for themselves and make their own decisions for their family. I'm so thankful we eventually did but regret not doing the research earlier in our children's lives, which is why I'm mentioning it to you. Thanks again for all the great work. God bless, Merry Christmas, and happy New Year!
Man he's still salty about the 1000 rated player he lost to. No the guy wasn't cheating. The guy had one clever move in the entire game. And it wasn't even a computer line because he set it up the pervious move, and no computer would play like that as if Nelsin saw it. The set up would have just been a bad move. The kid was essentially playing hope chess and it paid off because you fell for his tactic. Winning him a knight. Still down a knight you were winning the entire game until you hung your rook. I'm 1200, and I can beat stockfish most of the time up a knight and Rook. There was no weird time useage, no computer lines, low accuracy (for both players.) Let the ammature have his win he earned it. The one clever tactic wasn't even particularly complicated a 1000 rated player could have seen it on a good day. Be honest with yourself man, if you hadn't hung your rook and won the game would you have still accused him of cheating?
HAHAHA, man, you're delusional. There's no way you're beating Stockfish, and it's clear you have no idea what you're talking about. I seriously doubt you're even 1200 if you think a 900-rated player casually beats a national master. Do yourself a favor, stop lying to yourself, and delete your comment. Thanks.
I like your channel. But i have a major complaint. Every time you are under threat of losing you cry "rice cooker". Thats very poor behaviour. Unsportsmanship. Bad loser. Etc. I see you make a bad move, miss an obvious move, miss a fork. Then you later start moaning. Just friendly advice.
Nelson: Your children have a very simple wish for you this year: "We want to be seen. Put away the chess-board and play with us and teach us stuff and take us with you and show us places. In short: Be a dad!".
He has a job. It might be different than yours or others but it is a job nonetheless. I'm sure all children want to see their parents more, including when they go off to work for 8 hours. This is a stupid comment. Keep this crap to yourself instead of attacking Nelson.
I don‘t know if Neslon is doing RUclips full time or if he also has a (as some people would say) real job, but I‘m sure he sees his kids the other 11 hours a day. I mean it also depends on how old they are and if they still go to kindergarden, but it‘s not my life, it‘s his
It's so cool to see a GM in his 80s still playing chess at a high level.
He was a gm 🤔?

Me too. I forced a draw a couple days ago because I remembered opposition from Nelson’s recent video. I would have lost otherwise.
Please continue with the endgame videos. I love them!

This endgame is so instructive
Best episode of the series. Thanks, Nelson!

NELSON. For gods sake will you play the Luchinni Gambit for black? Please!? I’d love to see your take on it.
I'm glad you don't have gout now. I saw a video of yours from 3 years ago and you look way healthier now.
3:44:58 can I send a super chat to the guy who made the “don’t cross the streams” comment. 😂😂
thanks nelsi
vs Naoki was amazing Nelson! thank you for that joy! and in the end that speed omg!!!! :D
Hello nelsi sir ,

2nd end game line is crazy what engine says😂😂
Merry Christmas from 🇨🇦 enjoy your explanations of chess thinking and follow-up moves.
GM is 82 years old master :) his name is Vlastimil Jansa
2:31:09 why not taking g7 pawn with check before trading queens? I mean going to an endgame with an extra pawn is valuable as i know
Sir your video do not adjust 240 pixel for clearity
1:16:10 Doesnt Rxe7 also work? Confused here as both moves seemed working... but perhaps Rxe7 has zome flaws?

Agree 🎉
Intermittent fasting with a keto diet - skin issues and joint pain disappeared after 3 weeks...
Covid & gout? Definitely not related 🤓
love those videos :)

What's weird about the czech GM:
He had a Dutch phrase as a handle name...
DynamischeStrategie literally means Dynamic Strategy
Weird... 🤔
Maybe they'll blunder something sounds like hope chess.
jobava got the better
in chess I can only calculate to 3 😄😄😄😄😄

@@drewmcgrady3766 No need for personal attacks.
He probably spends more time with his kids than 90% of fathers. What on Earth are you talking about, retard?
It's so wierd on your side to presume he forgets or not care about his kids.

@ChessVibes Let’s talk soon. I’m sure I can help you with your GM journey
