The price per oz for ISDIN sunscreen is actually less than EltaMD UV Clear. I think it seems more startling because of the larger upfront cost for larger size. (ISDIN sunscreens are twice size of EltaMD UV Clear.)
@mies muschel Same. I don't enjoy putting on messy sunscreen just to be out for 10-15 minutes. UPF clothing works great. No sunburn, no new dark spots
This sunscreen is unbelievably great! Pricey but totally worth it. I’m talking about the tinted version. It feels exactly like the Chanel foundation that was recently discontinued.
I keep going back to Isdin after trying other brands. I am so glad you reviewed it. It gave me some reassurance. I have melasma, and this brand keeps them at bay.
Having a history of melanoma skin cancer and tried soooo many sunscreens , both tinted and non tinted… by far the winner in my book is Isdin! I wish I would’ve known about it sooner is my only regret!🥹 It’s application, feel , wear with and without makeup is amazing! 👍 We spend money on lots of other beauty products …why not on good quality sunscreen 🔥🧴
I’ve been using the isden ( non- tinted) for a few years. Grew up in Florida on the beach, I had extensive beginning skin cancers ( Actinic Keratosis) on my face . My regimen of Isden on face days/ neck and Retin-A 0.5 nights has resolved all pre cancers, and improved appearance tremendously. My dermatologist was shocked, my skin looks amazing. Wears awesome under makeup. I don’t like the tinted isden… too orange for my relatively light and cool skin.
Many of the Heliocare sunscreens contain DNA repair enzymes. The Age Active Fluid is excellent as is the AK Fluid. Sesderma also has an excellent DNA repair product called Repaskin Mender that has a range of other beneficial ingredients including Teprenone and antioxidants besides the DNA repair enzymes. There’s so much available once you start looking.
Great video Dr. D! Our dermatologist recommended ISDIN Eryfotona Actinica for my husband and I to wear as our daily face sunscreen. We are both 43. I really like it. It is very emollient, so it spreads very easily and is not greasy once rubbed in. And I have brownish skin tone, and this does not leave a cast. The 3.4 ounce bottle lasts a decent amount of time. I don't pay anywhere near $70 for it though! I pay around $50 when I buy it directly at my derm's office. Sometimes, they run "specials" and I get it for around $45. Yes, around the eyes if I'm sweating a lot and the sunscreen gets in my eyes, it does sting. We've been using this sunscreen about 2 years and are happy with it. I have no wrinkles or lines, and wear zero makeup, so I always want a great sunscreen!
@@MamaMia914 No, I don't find it to be sticky at all. I think because it is so emollient. If you put some on the palm of your hand and turned your hand upside down, it would drip off. Kind of like a "runnier" sunscreen. Which, I actually like because it is not super thick & sticky, and is very easy to spread. Hope that helps!
I have been waiting for you to discuss the legitimacy of the DNA repair enzymes. This video is exactly what I wanted to know! Thank you! I'm not on the bandwagon but mainly because of budget restraint. I would rather use an inexpensive sunscreen everyday. Someday if the cost comes down, I would prefer to use a Serum with the DNA repair enzymes in it. That said I have no history of skin cancers and none in my ancestors thankfully. I might think differently otherwise
I started using ISDIN Eryfotona Actinica a week ago and am IN LOVE. First of all, it wears beautifully under makeup. You do have to let it set for 10-15 min though so it won't pill. But once it sets..beautiful. There is a white cast initially (I'm white but have very olive/mediterranean skin tone) but once it sets there's no cast at all for me. Some hyperpigmentation has already faded with this even though prior to switching I have been wearing an spf 50 for 8 months. It's just a great sunscreen. There is a hint of scent but it bothers my rosacea prone sensitive skin less than some other 'non scented' sunscreens on the market. My morning routine is just a light warm water rinse, followed by the ordinary's azelaic acid and then the isdin. If I'm feeling extra dry I will put on a lightweight moisturizer on before the isdin. LOVE THIS STUFF.
Love this topic, can you consider doing a video or short on DNA enzyme vitamin/oral supplements to consider? Would love to see the additional Sunscreens that come out touting this benefit, especially with no fragrance!! 🙌🏻💕
Just purchased ISDIN Eryfotona Actinica, as I have been looking to switch to an all mineral sunscreen. Most are way too thick and goopy on my skin. Also, I don't care for tinted sunscreens because they always look "off" on my light complexion, which is why I didn't go for the Ageless version. WOW, I was an EltaMD Clear user for years and I have been converted. Elta was always a tiny bit greasy and though I loved it, it was the one downside. I had a definite sheen in my T-zone all day. For a mineral sunscreen, ISDIN is a complete dream!! I personally didn't notice any white case, though; I am somewhat fair. I have combo, sensitized skin and this was the perfect mix of moisture without the shine....seriously just perfect for me. Very lightweight and while I amno longer a big make-up wearer, I think it would go over this nicely. Only downside was the fragrance. It is a baby powdery smell and is a bit strong at first. I can say that it quickly dissipated and whatever the "fragrance" additive is, it didn't seen to affect my sensitive skin, so this is now my go-to. It is pricy ($60 vs. Elta's $39) but the bottle is big and I can see it lasting several months. MAKE SURE TO SHAKE IT WELL BEFORE APPLYING ;0)
I’ve been using ISDEN for years - discovered it in Barcelona while traveling. I use both - I found the tinted a bit too dark and orange for my fair complexion so I mix a bit of the non tinted in the tinted formula. They work well under makeup (foundations - Surratt, Chantecaille, Le Mer, Chanel, Lisa Eldridge, Tom Ford - been using ISDEN for years with different foundations :-) and in fact most times I don’t wear foundation with the tinted/non tinted mix. My skin is on the dry side. The scent dissipates almost immediately - love this product.
Thank you for discussing the fragrance aspect of products. As someone with allergies that I take injections for, and asthma, some fragrances really ramp up my asthma. I appreciate that you discuss fragrance in your reviews.
I've been using ISDIN Eryfotona Actinica for a few years. I have found it does not irritate my sensitive skin or make me break out. It holds up really well during super sweaty bike rides and even though the cost seems steep, it lasts a long time. I was told to use it on the backs of my hands (for DNA repair/sun damage). I liked what it did for my hands, so I started using it on my face too. It is now my daily facial sunscreen (and I just wear sun gloves on my hands). I am as pale as my avatar.
Thank u for your review dear Dr Dray. I've been using eryfotona actinica since last Nomeber. I live in a very sunny with high degree of humidity city and this product helped me a lot to get over previous sunburns and by the time I've noticed it helps with redness too. The only problem for me is, the white cast, it takes some times (about 30 min, which is a long time in working days) to fade away, other than that, I prefer it to many other mineral sunacreen such as supergoop, skinceutical sheer mineral, heliocare and cerave. Additionally it lasts longer thanks to its amount.
I swear, it's like you read my mind! I have literally been researching and looking into the Isdin sunscreens just the past couple of days. So this video is just perfect. Could not have come at a better time. Thank you! 😊
I have used the non-tinted ISDIN for years. I really think it has made a huge difference in my skins appearance in addition to offering sun protection. Blemishes heal faster using this and my skin is less irritated in general. I have tried other sunscreens but none have compared in my opinion. Never noticed the fragrance so that was interesting to hear.
I’ve been using the tinted version for a few months and am very happy with it. I don’t even notice the fragrance. And for me also this brand doesn’t irritate my skin. It goes on smoothly and looks quite natural.
I’ve been using photozyme dna repair enzymes in their youth dna serum. And the results are so good. In less than a month, my sun spots have faded so much. I can see my freckle pattern more clearly. I just ordered isdin sunscreen. The EA one
I love this stuff! The EltaMD tends to bleed not my eyes after a few hours, ISDIN doesn’t. I do find it is a little dark for me since I am a red head, but I still use it and recommend to all my family.
Been wearing both of these mixed together to lighten the color and love them because they seem to work better than a lot of other sunscreens I've tried (never burnt).
i am using ISDIN sun screen and the finish is wonderful! no white cast in my skin..i have been using ELTAMD but i dont like the smell...so far this isdin is the best for my asian dry skin mature...😍
I have purchased ISDIN sunscreen for my husband. He goes to the dermatologist every six months to have little irregular spots removed. He also takes Heliocare capsules daily. He does wear sunscreen everyday. I enjoy your channel. Thanks
@@Skirkly he has been taking Heliocare for about two years. He rides about 70 + miles a week on bicycle in the unforgiving Texas sun. His dermatologist is agreement with him taking Heliocare. There are studies on the ingredient fernblock. He also has used Heliocare sunscreen. It's made in Spain. Unfortunately my husband was a lifeguard in his youth plus boat owner etc. I do think it has helped. He has had small minor spots removed. Thanks
I take heliocare 1 capsule morning for 1 month, no problem. I have no burns here in Antalya,Turkey. There are professional results of polypodium use in oncology and dermatology.
I have both of these Isdin sunscreens and love them. They do cause a little eye irritation if I get it too close to my eyes, but they feel great on the skin.
This was very interesting, Dr. Dray. I have been curious about the DNA Repair enzymes, too. As far as the DNA repair, do you think it makes more of a difference for older people who already have significant sun damage from growing up when there were no effective sunscreens (me), than for a younger person with not sun damage? My derm has visited ISDIN in Spain and says it is so clean you can eat off the floor. She loves this sunscreen, too. When you first reviewed it 3 years ago, it did, indeed, have a very strong awful scent. It seems that ISDIN has really responded to customers who don't like that. I find it very mild now, and somehow, by the 2nd half of the bottle, hardly there at all. I usually am really irritated by fragrance but not this one. I try a lot of sunscreens and, like another viewer, keep coming back to this. I have tried the tinted, and it is quite nice, but I finally realized I just don't like tinted sunscreens, like I don't like foundation. Too much of a hassle. I may be giving up the iron oxides, but it isn't staining my clothes, getting on my tissue when I blow my nose, etc. Last summer I used the poly podium supplement, which is like Heliocare with some extra stuff, bought on sale. I swim everyday, and did not burn or tan. I do of course wear heavy water-resistant sunscreen on my body, too. Thank you for your channel, I have learned so much and my skin has improved greatly since I started watching you in 2019.
I have tried so many sunscreens and I think I’ve found “the one” in the Isdin tinted. I have very dry skin and so far this has not made me dryer as so many others have.💗
Thank you so much Dr. Dray for your reviews and knowledge. You really help us to make informed decisions and I (as so many others), really appreciate it!
I tried one DNA repair enzymes serum. The brand is called Photozyme. They have a full line of skincare products. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts Dr. Dray on this brand and its products.
I bought this product and really liked how it felt on my skin, but after today, I am very disappointed. The UV protection actually offered by this sunscreen is much less than advertised. I went to a football game at around noon, and reapplied my sunscreen after 1.5 hours. My mom had told me that my freckles were showing and I was very confused. I did apply enough of the sunscreen and didn't put anything on top. Upon further research by EWG, I found that it has a very poor rating for it's real SPF and doesn't protect from UVA very well.
Sunscreens should be fragrance free. The most scented sunscreen I've ever had was Nuxe Sun SPF 50. They advertise it as smelling of orange blossom, gardenia and vanilla. Apart from the overwhelming scent it was a fantastic sunscreen, non-sticky, lightweight and surprisingly qiute inexpensive. I would repurchase it but the scent was so strong my husband hated it when I was using it. As for Isdin I used Isdin Fusion Water (blue bottle) and I liked it, although I still trust most La Roche Posay's Anthelios ans SVRs.
I tried many mineral sunscreens and all were really bad in terms of leaving a white cast or irritating. My derm suggested I try the ISDIN which I did and I will never ever touch any other sunscreen. It's just so light, has no cast, and works really well.
Just back from 2 weeks in Greece 🌞and sunscreens worked so well, that I’m still pale and interesting. Thanks Dr D for your excellent advice about face sunscreens La Roche Posay + also Eucerin spf50. Thumbs down though for the messy Sunbum spf30.
It is available on Amazon I believe but I purchased it from lookfantastic and it was promptly delivered. As for cast, it’s slight and more of a issue in the hairline but overall when dried it’s undetectable.
@@jrooney6875 thank you I’m super pale so this should work. Do you know if this is a chemical or mineral sunscreen please, as I having trouble reading the filters? Many thank 🙏🏻
I have tried both, but in my location, they are a bit different. All versions here are only half the size of the video, they are expensive for a sunscreen of this size and the non tinted one portrays a 99 FPS protection (99 UVB and 38 UVA) - Eryfotona AK-NMSC fluid and promises the DNA repair technology. The tinted one is a 50 FPS and the product is called Fotoultra ISDIN Fusion Water Color. There is another Fotoultra ISDIN Active Unify Fusion Fluid which is also a 99 FPS that promises to prevent and treat hyperpigmentation. All versions sting around the eye area and the fragrance is mild, especially the non tinted versions. The tinted one has a more annoying scent but still okay. Now the tinted one does give a yellow cast that I dislike but it is not an 'ugly' look, it just gives you some kind of 'warmth' if you have a white rosey peach skin but not super pale and pink. I prefer the non tinted version, it feels less greasy and more subtle, maybe more absorbable. I have been using Eryfotona for a year now.
I'm not going to pay $60-70 for a sunscreen with fragrance...that's just ridiculous to me. If they made a fragrance free one I would probably give them a try though. It's a bummer that they decided to include fragrance.
@@jt8142 how much is it then? It says $60-70 for the original price on their website (depending on the sunscreen) but they could have marked the prices up because they're on sale. I've definitely seen them for $50something before.
For oily skin is right! This Ageless was such as astringent sunscreen my dry skin felt TIGHT! It even pilled\ flaked one day… No. no. No (can’t believe this is so touted by derms!)
I love ISDIN Eryfotona Actinica Ultralight Emulsion SPF 50+. I use it everyday as the first layer of sunscreen on my face, neck, chest, hands, and forearms. 👏 🧴 ❤ I always buy it when it’s on sale on the company’s website - 25% discount.
I tried the untinted Isdin sunscreen but unfortunately the scent is very strong. I’m sensitive to fragrance though. Also, it did make me break out when I used it. I had high hopes for this sunscreen but I had to stop using it. I really hope they make a version without a scent!
I’ve used both of these sunscreens and they are good. I mix them together to get the right tint for my face as I find the color ashy on me. I have used many of their products as I bought quite a few things from their website when they had a sale. Thanks for your reviews. 👍👍
I’ve read several times that the unscented one leaves no cast. Even from derms of color. You find otherwise? I want to purchase and I’m about Kerry Washington’s color and wants to go for the unscented one.
@@Luvanmusiq I personally don’t think the cast is bad my skin is light to medium but I do like the tinted sunscreens then I don’t have to wear makeup. 😂🤣
I currently use ISIN Eryfotona Ageless Ultralight sunscreen and can't use it around my eyes. If I get any in my eyes, my eyes burn like crazy. Otherwise, I love this sunscreen. Except the price! I purchase it from my dermatologist's office and pay $60.00. But have to say, one bottle lasts me about 3 months. Of course I use daily and apply it to my face, neck and chest. Works fantastic under makeup.
I have never tried Isdin. I am looking out for non-water resistant sunscreens without a cast. Last Target run I made all of the sunscreens were water-resistant.
I used Isdin for three years now because of my hyperpigmentation problem. My dermatologist recommended it. It helps me a lot especially with the "Spot prevent" one in the European market. It does have fragrance but the smell goes away fast. I am glad to also to hear Dr. Dray's opinion on this too.
Did it resolve or reduce your hyperpigmentation, my son has a rare skin condition which has caused severe hyperpigmentation on his face and other sun exposed areas.
@@nitinkumar-jy3fi Ever since I used this sunscreen, my hyperpigmentation has not got worse and definitely faded the pigmentation on my forehead. I really hope you can find the most suitable sunscreen for your son.
My dermatologist just recommended Isdin but I’m not a big fan of the price and trying to decide if it’s worth it. I’m 52 , on Tretinoin and want to tone down pigmentation.
I am confused. When Gywneth Paltrow or Paris Hilton ( not a fan of either of them and I do not remember which one of them made this claim) talked about DNA damage everyone said it is not possible for any product to reverse or prevent DNA damage of skin but now there are studies and products claiming it is possible?
You often say you don’t wear makeup but it looks like you do. Blusher and eyeliner and eye shadow looks really pretty on you in this video. Will you share what blush you like?
I love the Isdin non tinted! I also love Elta MD clear, although it has one chemical component ( my derm says is safe) Isdin is actually less expensive by the ounce than Elta MD clear. Both have been recommended to me by dermatologists. My skin is a combination with rosacea. Isdin is a thin liquid that does not feel heavy or greasy. Highly recommend Isdin!
This is very promising if it actually repairs DNA damage, but I have some follow-up questions. Would it be good enough to use these sunscreens a few times a week, and use a less expensive sunscreen on other days, or does it have to be applied every day to repair DNA? Could you use it every day for a few months just to repair DNA damage, and then switch back to a less expensive sunscreen? Would it be better to save this sunscreen for when you're going to be in the sun a lot, like during summer when you go to the beach?
I used this sunscreen last year. I did love it. But I recall the fragrance in it was very strong, so I used it on my neck. I will have to try again on my face if I’d dissipates. The bottle did last me all summer.
I follow Dr. Idriss, Dr. Ellis and Dr. Dray here on RUclips and although Dr. Dray is my least favorite because she only likes to “recommend” drugstore products, I still search for her when I don’t understand some ingredients and formulations because she goes in depth with the science than Dr Idriss and Dr Ellis
I’ve tried both! I really like the tinted one and I mix it with cotz spf 40 primer. That’s like my daily sunscreen use and I have solar urticaria but yeah I really like the tinted one so far. The regular isdin was too pasty for my liking
Hi Dr. Dray! I have male pattern baldness, and an option for a lot of men (and women) are hair systems. They look great! I've never seen you mention them on your channel before, and would love to know if they can cause dermatitis, the best Shampoo and conditioners for them, plus other hair products. They use real hair, and obviously you have to be a lot careful with them than regular hair. I'd absolutely LOVE and appreciate a helpful guide on what products may be best to use on them
Dr. Andrea, I would like to give you a compliment. I noticed you are wearing a little bit of make up, you look fabulous, very beautiful, nice to see you like this. Thank you for your advice. I have the isdin the tinted one , I really like it very light It’s a little bit off the color but I make it work. I look sun tan.
Greetings Dr. Dray! I suffer with psoriasis, dermatitis, roscesa, exema, milia and squamous cell carcinoma. My Dermatologist of 4 years has now referred me to Stanford University for study and am hopeful for answers. Aside from pain and negative side effects, from years on and off of topical steroids, I have hair and skin damage from other oral medications unrelated to these issues. Love this information today. Can you suggest a hair and skin detox/cleanse treatment for damage caused by other oral prescription medications? Thank you for your time. Sending you flowers. 💐
Would love to hear your thoughts on Hailey Bieber’s new skincare brand “Rhode.” I’m not usually intrigued by celebrity skincare lines, but this one seems well thought out and innovative. Curious to hear your thoughts on it!
After going through several sunscreen brands, Isdin sunscreens have the first brand not to cause me irritation near the eye area. I love how the formula blends into my skin seamlessly. Also, reapplication is smooth and I don't feel any buildup throughout the day. Both the tinted and non-tinted formulas keep my skin protected, smooth, and hydrated. I say Isdin is worth a try if you have gone through several trial and errors with other mineral sunscreens.
I use Isdin on days I don’t use make up. It’s a bit pricey but they do sales sometimes. I mix the non tinted with the tinted to lighten it….takes away orangey color. I prefer a sunscreen that makes a good primer when I use makeup. Supergoop Matte or Australian Gold are great for that. Can you do a review on One Skin which has some similar alleged revolutionary benefits?
In the tinted sunscreen there are the ingredients sodium benzoate and ascorbic acid, which when exposed to high heat or light turns into the carcinogenic and dna damaging chemical benzene. As this product is designed to be in the Sun, are these two ingredients truly harmless in this product please?
The price per oz for ISDIN sunscreen is actually less than EltaMD UV Clear. I think it seems more startling because of the larger upfront cost for larger size. (ISDIN sunscreens are twice size of EltaMD UV Clear.)

I’ve been using the tinted version for a few months and am very happy with it. I don’t even notice the fragrance. And for me also this brand doesn’t irritate my skin. It goes on smoothly and looks quite natural.
@@wendyfrech7863 is it very fluid like Fusion water? Like watery or with hyaluronic acid
I’ve been using photozyme dna repair enzymes in their youth dna serum. And the results are so good. In less than a month, my sun spots have faded so much. I can see my freckle pattern more clearly. I just ordered isdin sunscreen. The EA one
Hi. I just purchased Photozyme body lotion. Looking forward to seeing it I get good results. I bought it with a good discount.
I love this stuff! The EltaMD tends to bleed not my eyes after a few hours, ISDIN doesn’t. I do find it is a little dark for me since I am a red head, but I still use it and recommend to all my family.
Happy Tuesday Dr Dray....see you tomorrow x💙🤩
I’ve used both of these and like them. Not a fan of the tinted color, but I do really like the non-tinted one under makeup.
Love that lipstick color on you. Very pretty!
Would LOVE a review on the brands: Photozyme and Oneskin.
Me too
This is my go to! I love Eryfotona Ageless. Thank you for this video.
Been wearing both of these mixed together to lighten the color and love them because they seem to work better than a lot of other sunscreens I've tried (never burnt).
Yay!! Been waiting on this video for like 2 years! You mentioned it a looonnggggg time ago. Thanks for visiting this topic!! Have a good day!!
Tysm for this video! I was someone that asked for this content. Appreciate it so much. I use Neova dna repair products and really like them
I love neova tinted sunscreen and repair cream/lotion with copper.
I’ve been wondering about this brand so thank you for the review Dr. Dray! (You look beautiful by the way… skin glowing and perfect of course) 💜
My mom's dermatologist just recommended Isdin's Uradin lotion. I had never heard of it
i am using ISDIN sun screen and the finish is wonderful! no white cast in my skin..i have been using ELTAMD but i dont like the smell...so far this isdin is the best for my asian dry skin mature...😍
Wow interesting didn’t realise my fave Elizabeth Arden spf had plankton in it! I love it as it’s tinted mineral and not drying at all :)
Thank you so much Dr. Dray!! I've been watching out for this video!🙌💕
Finally! For so long i have been waiting for you to review this sunscreen 🥰😘
I never heard of this sunscreen but I would love to try the tinted. Thanks for always being on top of the latest skin. Care products!
I have purchased ISDIN sunscreen for my husband. He goes to the dermatologist every six months to have little irregular spots removed. He also takes Heliocare capsules daily. He does wear sunscreen everyday. I enjoy your channel. Thanks
How long has he been taking the capsules? Has he noticed any side effects or has it helped in anyway?
@@Skirkly he has been taking Heliocare for about two years. He rides about 70 + miles a week on bicycle in the unforgiving Texas sun. His dermatologist is agreement with him taking Heliocare. There are studies on the ingredient fernblock. He also has used Heliocare sunscreen. It's made in Spain. Unfortunately my husband was a lifeguard in his youth plus boat owner etc. I do think it has helped. He has had small minor spots removed. Thanks
@@happytx1860 I don't know much about it, but I would like to give it a try. I will read up on the studies.
I love photozyme my skin has improved so much
Same
Ditto!!
Let us know how it’s working for you. Thanks
how long have you been trying their products ? have you seen any difference ?
Top Information in this video! Thanks Dr. Dray
I tried many mineral sunscreens and all were really bad in terms of leaving a white cast or irritating. My derm suggested I try the ISDIN which I did and I will never ever touch any other sunscreen. It's just so light, has no cast, and works really well.
Hello buddy. Did you try the eryfotona or wich one?? Thanks
Thank you so much dear Doctor Dray as always. I am watching your videos from SriLanka.💐
Eucerin (UK) markets an SPF 100 for folks who deal with actinic keratosis. Its a pleasant and underrated sun cream.
I’m in the UK where can I buy this please?
I've been eyeing this. Does the titanium dioxide in this leave a white caste?
It is available on Amazon I believe but I purchased it from lookfantastic and it was promptly delivered. As for cast, it’s slight and more of a issue in the hairline but overall when dried it’s undetectable.
@@jrooney6875 thank you I’m super pale so this should work. Do you know if this is a chemical or mineral sunscreen please, as I having trouble reading the filters? Many thank 🙏🏻
@@monicaduncan7109 should be completely mineral. Don’t know about European formulation. Try perusing their site!
Eeewwww this is going to be good. Thanks! Happy Tuesday 💕💕💕
You too!!
Happy Tuesday, Dr. Dray 🤍🌸☀️🏝
👱♀️❤
Morning!
Happy Tuesday ❤️✨❤️☀️!!! Dr. Dray
I would love to see a review of ISDIN’s hair loss products!
Yes, thank you! Hair loss from topical steroids prescribed by Dermatologist. 😰
I'm not going to pay $60-70 for a sunscreen with fragrance...that's just ridiculous to me. If they made a fragrance free one I would probably give them a try though. It's a bummer that they decided to include fragrance.
The brand Neova has DNA repair enzymes in their sunscreen and it’s fragrance free
Neova sheer tinted SPF44 DNA repair. Don't have fragrance in it.
They have amazing sunscreen but the are not sold in US spot prevent is my favorite high UVA protection
I don’t pay $60-$70 for this sunscreen ever. Don’t believe that nonsense.
I always buy it when it’s on sale on the company’s website - 25% discount.
@@gaylelynch6839 Great, thank you! And we all love that one less step 🤣
Thanks Dr. Dray! Can you go over layering SPFs, specifically different sunscreens from different companies that could compliment each other.
yes, plz plz!!!
Have you checked out her video, how to layer sunscreen, Apr '21?
why would you do that? Get a good one in the first place.
Thank you for what you do. ❤
I love these sunscreens!
There’s an unscented one now!
Which 1 did u use?
Hey Doc… very interesting stuff here & a lot to think about…
Thanks so much!
Love 💕 Tia xxx
My dermatologist just recommended Isdin but I’m not a big fan of the price and trying to decide if it’s worth it. I’m 52 , on Tretinoin and want to tone down pigmentation.
I am confused. When Gywneth Paltrow or Paris Hilton ( not a fan of either of them and I do not remember which one of them made this claim) talked about DNA damage everyone said it is not possible for any product to reverse or prevent DNA damage of skin but now there are studies and products claiming it is possible?
My mom has been using the European version of this sunscreen for her actinic keratosis as suggested by our derm, and it has worked very well for her.
I've tried these and discovered that their EU versions ISDIN Active Unify Colour SPF100+ and Spot Prevene from Amazon UK are more promising.
Excellent content
You often say you don’t wear makeup but it looks like you do. Blusher and eyeliner and eye shadow looks really pretty on you in this video. Will you share what blush you like?
This is interesting! Thanks again! 🌺🌹
thanks for watching
Dr. Shereene Idriss, here on RUclips, recommended this one so I'm so curious! :D
Love all the female derms on RUclips!
Thank you, just what I need!
This sunscreen definitely helped reduced my malasma ❤
Thank you for this video! I just purchased the tinted and regular version, I’m looking forward to trying it 😊
I feel like this is inspired by my question to you from a few days ago about Repaskin Mender from sesderma. 😎
I love Isdin products.
I’ve used this sunscreen for years and love it. Now my teen boys have taken it over. 😁
I'd absolutely LOVE and appreciate a helpful guide on what products may be best to use on them
I always knew my skin felt better after using this ISDIN tinted sunscreen. The absolute best! Too bad it's so expensive. I think it's like $60 or $70.
Yeah, it’s somewhat expensive. I like that it’s double the size of the standard ones so it makes up for it there!
@@Luvanmusiq The size does make the difference. I find myself always reordering Elta MD's facial sunscreen. It's only 1.7 ounces for about $40.
Thank you for your review 🥰
At least if you live under a rock, you're not going to have to worry about sun damage.
Happy Tuesday!
Morning!
In the tinted sunscreen there are the ingredients sodium benzoate and ascorbic acid, which when exposed to high heat or light turns into the carcinogenic and dna damaging chemical benzene. As this product is designed to be in the Sun, are these two ingredients truly harmless in this product please?
