@lazur1 I mean they had people from the police department that was being sued by Steven Avery investigating the case when they were not supposed to, it's called a conflict of interest and that was proven and guess what they still convicted Steven. Manitowoc county is so corrupt they denied Kathleen Zellner an evidentiary hearing despite the fact she has an eye witness that spotted Bobby Dassey pushing Teresa Halbachs Rav 4 onto Steven Averys property. So yeah I 100 percent believe they had a corrupt jury as well it's not that hard when everyone else in favor of the prosecution was corrupt af.

What episode do they present the FACT that Gregory Allen was responsible for numerous viscous assaults during the years Steven was serving prison time for HIS crime. I hope they reveal that he was proven in May of 2005 to have brutally assaulting a woman in Minnesota and was subpoenaed to be extradited for trial, but Wisconsin did not respond until AFTER Steven AND Brendan were both convicted & sentenced in 2007! (NOTHING IN THE MEDIA.) My question is, why wasn't this made public at the time the depositions for the $36M lawsuit were being made? Who pulled the strings? Also why was Sherry Culhane (a clear conflict of interest) allowed to have had ANYTHING to do with the case let alone do virtually ALL of the lab work?

That does bother me about the case. I think Steven is guilty however there was so much corruption and not a fair trial. And I didn’t know till recently that woman who did the scientific tests for the trial was actually a woman who worked on his 85 rape case. That’s a major conflict of interest. Combine that the cops screwed up big time by having colborn and lenk involved in this case period. It doesn’t mean I side with Steven either I think he’s scum and is where he belongs. However law enforcement has nobody to blame but themselves that they have had to answer for all there bad behavior so many years later. Because if they had kept there hands clean and let Steven and Brendan have fair trials and they both got convicted fairly nobody would even know who those two men are and Steven would die in prison as a nobody like they wanted.

Then every single case that those officer worked on throughout their career will be under scrutiny and it will open the largest corruption case perhaps since watergate. When you have several people saying similiar things about Avery, it starts to add up very quickly. Add to that Avery's own tone with Jodi and other people, and it paints the clear picture.
    Let's be clear here
    1. Earl
    2. Chuck
    3. Jodi
    4. Chuck's ex
    5. Avery's cousin
    6. Avery's niece Marie
    7. Avery's other niece
    8. Avery's neighbors
    9. Brendan
    10. Avery's ex-wife
    11. Avery's son
    12. Avery's other son
... are all telling stories of a sexually violent man. So, essentially, people closest to him are all consistently describing a violent, sexually disturbed man. (But they are all lying?)
On top of all that is Avery's own tone and words give insight to his deviance. At times not denying specific allegations, but sidestepping them or pressuring the person he is talking to to tell the story his way. Or even his own words and attitude convince you, he did these evil things.

Making a Murderer was highly emotionally manipulative, it deceived it's views by hiding Steven's more violent behavior and presenting him as a sympathetic individual who the audience could relate to and feel sympathy for. To do this they also used hearsay and rumours, they couldn't even let Avery's victims speak candidly without interrupting their story with a nobody from a bar calling her a liar.
CaM is simply showing the audience the parts MaM neglected to mention or showed in a misleading way.
It's pretty petty to write books and make money off one show which is mostly speculation and innuendo but the chastise the other side for saying 'here's what they left out.'
Had the facts about Steven's behavior been presented honestly and people knew that Steven was torturing animals, bulling his kids, raping his niece, bashing his stepsons teeth out, beating his wife, threatening his wife to his kids in Easter cards, trying to kidnap his cousin and all of the vile things Steven has done, then it would have been harder to sell the conspiracy theory of him being framed.
Because of MaM's emotional manipulation, the innocent side has adopted an 'Anyone but Steven Avery' mentality and will drag anyone's name through the mud and accuse whoever they like of some pretty horrid things, while simultaneously dismissing the behaviors of what is clearly a sociopath.
Steven Avery is a sick piece of shit and he is guilty of murdering Teresa. People who think he is innocent were just tricked by film makers using tried and true conspiracy theory tactics to lead their viewers to a desired conclusion.
Cam is simply triggering the emotional centers of Avery supporters again. Instead of calling it crap or hearsay or downplaying it as biased, stop and think. It is easier to fool someone than to convince them they have been fooled.
