good vid have read lots about backleading but you have explained the whole thing in a very easy way i will be showing this vid to my student as it is clear and to the point with out trying to flog tackle. very well done keep making vids as you could have your on slot on tv
i would say that crays would not go for the line, just your hook baits. but as I don't fish cray waters, this works well for me... and a few others who have tried it.. tight lines
ubee , I’m in favour of using backleads when the lake bed lets you do it. Lots of weed and margin lillies will hinder bank side backleads and can lead to snagging up. But if the lake bed is free of weed then I use Korda flying backleads, and mainly in the winter use Fox tethered back leads...

That would be a nightmare in my local lake which is full of crayfish!

Glad you liked it, I now use the fox tethered backleads they come off the line as soon as you strike, ..
