Madden is back !!! The competitiveness can finally fun again!
I feel like the passing/placement is super overpowered. I’ve used it with players like Allen, Mahommes, Goff, Dak, Fields, Love, and Young. They all on average can make the same throws with the passing/ placement. With classic it’s soo much more based on their attributes. Just what I found, not sure about other people

So when free form passing, do u want to slightly move the left anolog stick rather than move it hard all the way against the wall of the analog stick I’m assuming ? Also, on that corner route u hit diggs on, I don’t get why u couldn’t have hit the same thro by just not freeforming and moving the left stick down and left the same way you did while freeforming? Wouldn’t the Thrōw be basically the same outcome ?
I need this video because I'm always either overthrowing receivers or forgetting to free form the pass and throwing an INT when i have a wide open receiver lmao

Hi I have a question when I got madden I picked classic and I just went to setting and game options and I couldn’t find passing mechanics do you have any clue????
Man idk where I went wrong but I swear every time I free form the ball it overthrows the receiver by a mile exactly like on max distance but I play on near. I can’t free form anywhere near the sideline without it going out and the accuracy part of it feels random asf not to mention idk how to touch pass with it on. I’m struggling bros.

This is my first year..So after you hold L2 to activate…Do you use the left stick before or after you hit the receivers icon. To move the reticle?
Directly after. try using the slow down option in practice mode to get the hang of it.

So when I have a guy wide up 99 Mahomes ultimate team, L2 for free form touch pass it and free form and moved my left stick up its in the green and say out of reach when the ball is right infront of my WR that’s how I am Lossing games can u tell me what I doing wrong
so what is the difference between LT + leftstick and leftstick alone? leftstick places the orange reticle inside the catch circle while LT (free form passing) places it outside? I still don't fully understand the purpose of free form passing

Is this also available when playing madden 24 on ps4? In the settings menu there is no option to choose from different passing styles.
It’s only on next gen. Unfortunately PS4 doesn’t have these options.
So if you get good at this then the accuracy stat is basically useless?

There’s a problem! I’ve had bad games against glitching gamers so I went and bought the disc for PS5 because the digital version gets glitched to hell and the problem has been fixed. They try to glitch the hell out of the game but I still beat them because I’m playing from the disc💭. Smart move huh? But anyways, I’ve found out that the problem is the plays that are drawn up that they adhere are the only way that they act. Meaning they’re only going to be in certain areas on the field and this causes a lot of uproar as to not being in a ready position for a defense by paying attention as they do in real life or an offensive advancement, i.e leverage. The assignment given to the players forces them to only be in a specific area on MOST occasions causing dissatisfaction. The pre play art assignment SHOULD NOT BE ATTATCHED TO THE PLAYERS. It’s restrictive. Play-Art should still be shown though. They should be able to move on a swivel and react pro like. They’re not reacting freely. The defense doesn’t carry out assignments properly such as corners adhering to the DEEP middle as well as their respective third as the safety is having to take on action intermediate middle and such, receivers don’t contend via the route guide as they don’t partake in the disadvantage, quarterbacks throw errant passes because of it, runningbacks aren’t fluid and o-linemen aren’t reaching and sliding and are messing everything up because you got them controlled. You can only control one player at a time. If you remove the on field mandate the game will act more smooth than ever before and particularly life like. Trust me. I’m 53-47 and would have a better record if it wasn’t for those costly mistakes. I’m trying to run a productive streaming app and RUclips channel. These setbacks are setting me back. i personally dont know why ppl use near because no max distance and 12 speed literally gives you full control, i feel like you just have to get used to it and youll literally be unstopable once the right play is on the field
Max is just has too much variance to it. I’m looking to consistently throw passes that are consistently catchable. Being able to throw the ball away easier is the only advantage I see to max. It’s all personal preference tho. Glad you found what works for you 🙌🏻

Is the passing meter different this year than last year
They simplified it and added a ton more on screen feedback so you can know what happened on the play.
@@Tall6uy oh ok because this year if you hold down the button too long while throwing it's poor accuracy but last year you can hold it down for as long as you want it would still be complete with a bullet pass

Depends on how you use it. Are you using it in regs or MUT? Who’s your QB?
@@Tall6uy regs only and I’m a Chargers fan so I only use them, have been a Chargers user since 06-07 online anyways.
@@AmirAbdullah I think the under pressure radius is bigger this year and they're trying to force you to play more realistic and make smarter throws. That's just my early read on it tho
@@Tall6uy I’m not so sure that’s how it’s executed. It’s much harder even with the pass lead to throw to a outside shoulder accurately when the Wr is inside the numbers but defender has inside leverage. Last year throwing to the opposite shoulder was the was in any type of man coverage. Also the back Shoulder pass , the Wr animated and would stop and turn around for the ball, even in coverage. Demonstrating the priority the Wr had and the secondary reaction From the DB. Getting the Wr or TE to animate and box out DB’s was my bread and butter. Now DB’s react to soon to my passes often Psychic during the momentum phases. Leading to picks , knockdown and knockout animations that are super unrealistic. In todays game Wr as a whole are catching more aggression style catches more than ever not to mention I think the average DB is like 6’ tall. It’s just not accurately depicted in game. Especially the Chargers who are known for aggressive catching as a team. Williams , Allen and even Palmer are all aggressive catch players. I have to be a vertical type of players and I need my guys to animate. They changed the dynamics of the game and whoever decided that was mistaken. But you’ll see as the season progresses. I do know running the ball will be key this season in real games, that’s why the big push for Oline adjustments. Even the Chargers will run the ball better, but the downfield interactions, interference is way wrong. Animated drops for no apparent reason. I know drops happen but not so much from your playmakers especially when another team has momentum it doesn’t mean my team has given up. Nor does it mean boosted stats for the team with momentum. No sightly better blocking, Wr can’t see deep routes, confused experienced players. And then the pre game focus is all wrong. We live on offense by what the defense gives us right ? Just because I’m looking for the outside run doesn’t mean I’ve slacked off on the inside run, who came up with that. Over and under pursuit isn’t the case every play. There no balance to the thinking of the game. Freeform doesn’t make sense now to me. What does make sense is ppl cried about defenders not animating out of position and out of reach of a properly thrown Freeform pass. Beating the 0 cover blitz, killing the four rush blitz three idea. I was killing everyone with curl routes all season long last year if they thought the 3-3 blitzes were gonna get me, what happens ? A DB has to play inside and under leaving open because he’s out of position the outside and over the left shoulder pass. Like a stop and go. But now the pass won’t go out to the outside shoulder when last year it did. That’s what makes sense to me. Another year EA screwed me out of big time wins for the crying of big Mut spenders. Did you see the highlight of a Mike Williams catch beating Double coverage in overtime for a big score ? I had like 2075 views on the Xbox network. I explained and I shouldn’t have, it’s not the DB’s hips that turn. It’s his head , when a defender can’t see the ball you throw it then. I explained that last year this year he’s always looking back that’s a recipe for getting beat over the top. And could go on for days how they screwed it all up, but it’s the meta mindset that ruined last years game for a lot of folks. Because instead of using curls and freefom passes ppl tried to use blockers and pass protect and none of that worked. Freeform was the answer. Everyone just didn’t take the time to figure it out. They ruined my experience but catering to MUT whales.
