Once I told my kids that it was hot dogs cooked in bread with mozzarella cheese they were hooked. Great weekend meal to make together with the kids...when it came out of oven they immediately took pictures to show their friends what they made..it was pretty nice. I also made one with italian sausage, but it was too greasy.. the hot dog was the best.
I cannot wait to make this for my grandsons!!! They are 10 and 13 years old and come to my house for a full week every summer......we will have so much fun making these ...... and eating our art work!!!! I just made this. It didnt stay in the beautifull form as miss maangchi. It spread like one whole big pizza🤣🤣🤣 I used butter cream instead of unsalted butter and it tasted AMAAAAZINGG😍 Super great recipe. Thank you miss maangchi.

These just came out of the oven. 1 3/4 cup is 210g, but I ended up having to use about 240g (2 cups) and a bit more for dusting/kneading. Mine weren’t as pretty are yours but still delicious. I only had 2 hot dogs so I used thick slices of ham for the last 3 breads (I put the toppings on like a pizza).
The most beautiful thing about me watching it is I get to understand everything you teach .And I thank you for your patience and love for you to take time to teach each one of us here

I remember making this 2 years ago when I first saw your video, and it came out super delicious! 🤩 Now having some left-over sausages in the fridge I just had to look up this video again. I hope one day I can travel to Korea and buy this from an actual street food stall.
I'm always intrigued by how American cuisine influences some Korean foods....especially street foods. I think it's probably why most Americans love Korean Street food, since there are so many familiar flavors like ketchup, cheese, corn, etc. A lot of Americans find most traditional Asian foods unappealing or even weird because of unfamiliar ingredients, fermented items, and cuts of meat they see as being inedible, but I think that these types of dishes with familiar American ingredients helps them start to explore these cuisines and their cultures and gives them a better appreciation of the more traditional dishes as well.
Since its lockdown i decided to make this recipe today and my family loves it and they wanted more , thank you for this Maangchi 💕 i will surely do more of your recipes in the future 😁
This is ridiculously easy to make! I used 1 3/4 cup all purpose + bao flour, added garlic powder and spring onion to the dough. Needed to add more flour but it still come out soft and fluffy. I rolled the dough around sausages and half of it i made into flower shape sausage buns. Thanks for the recipe👍🥰

Made this for lunch today and used pretzel buns as well as chopping up the sausage into the corn/pepper and spooned it all over the top of the split buns. Then I just baked them until the cheese melted and the bread toasty. Not as pretty as yours, but fast and easy and delicious!
I've never seen anything like this before! So pretty. I like the topping, it reminds me of southern hot corn. We eat southern hot corn all the time where I'm from :)
they have this in most chinese bakery shops... i live in san francisco, ca this is almost in every asian baker shop. theres all kinds of styles with hams, corn and hot dog sausage

@@SolangeArcos44 Margarine is too oily, i suggest using about 2 tablespoons oil if you cannot get butter.

Before maangchi I never knew how versatile a rice scooper could be. Mix batters/doughs, sauces, and regular rice.

Made this for lunch today and used pretzel buns as well as chopping up the sausage into the corn/pepper and spooned it all over the top of the split buns. Then I just baked them until the cheese melted and the bread toasty. Not as pretty as yours, but fast and easy and delicious!

I've never seen anything like this before! So pretty. I like the topping, it reminds me of southern hot corn. We eat southern hot corn all the time where I'm from :)
they have this in most chinese bakery shops... i live in san francisco, ca this is almost in every asian baker shop. theres all kinds of styles with hams, corn and hot dog sausage
@@roblox21242 Same. I live in Socal and so we have lots of Asian bakeries down here as well. For sausage bread though, my favorites are from Paris baguette and Tours de Jours.
Yes in NY they have these at Korean** Bakeries and Korean** Chains like Tour les Jour and Paris Baguette..Sometimes they have at H Mart
