I listen to conservative radio, and they are all comparable to FOX, or worse. Since trump, they absolutely never tell the truth about anything. Was just listening to a radio mc this morning. Because all he hears is lies, he wa all fired up because the election was stolen from trump with Dominion voting machines and suitcases of ballots. He's saying Kari Lake won in Arizona, that the Republican governor was bribed by the DNC as well as the Republican Secretary of State. Conservatives prey on simple minded people who are easily fooled and gaslighted. If only informed, intelligent people voted, there would be very, very few Republicans elected. Their lies are the only thing that get them elected. Why?, because they are a one trick pony, tax cuts for the obscenely wealthy, that's it. Not in the last 40 years have they ever proposed anything that would help the general population of America. They only pander to the wealthy.
I'm so glad Dominion is going after them and that the courts are exposing all this.

Remember that $1.6B is just the defamation damages. The case is to be held in California where there is no limit on puntative damages. The jury can award 10x that. There's also the Smarmatic suit (asking for $2.6B IIRC). I wouldn't be surprised if the total damages awarded between the suits wasn't $20+B.
I hope this trial has live coverage! I'd even pay big money for pay-per-view! Seeing FOXNEWS go down in flames in real time would be priceless!😁

Any potential pretrial settlement must require Fox and all of the individual actors to publicly go on record, on their own shows to admit that they intentionally lied. Force them to admit it in public.

If the case is found to be in favour of Dominion, apart from any monetary settlement, the court should direct that Fox is to air retractions, apologies and corrections, from each of the on-air personalities and by the Fox CEO, and, most importantly, by Rupert Murdoch himself. The wrong they did collectively must be made right, collectively.

There were so many white-collar crimes committed from 2015-2020 by the GOP and those who support the GOP that there's not enough time, money, or staff to investigate or prosecute it. It amazes me that they are still uncovering crimes within crimes! Then, there are things done that are not considered crimes per se, but are just as damaging to our democracy, such as the former Attorney General of AZ not releasing the report that showed the 2020 election was secure and no widespread voter fraud to overturn the election.
