This is the best Chinese drama I've ever watched.. I almost re-watch this for more than ten times but still I still feel the flow of the story... How it was been and then end...
How could the director think even for a second that Mark Chao is ugly? Lol. He is handsome. I think the role that he plays makes him even more handsome in a manly kind of way. The other younger male actors like Dijun might have more pleasing facial features but they are not manly. Dijun comes across as a stubborn boy-toy instead of an ancient god. I doubt i will watch the sequel if Mark Chao aint in it...
Us too. Pillow Book is not Eternal Love continuity of the book. Not watching caused hot, handsome manly greatest actor Mark Chao wasn't included. Yang Mi only cameo role and most of the actors and actresses are been replaced. Remember it's not the same Productions as ETERNAL LOVE who still the best Cdrama Historical Series Forever.
I think media is too used to the conventional pretty boy look and Mark Chao doesn’t fit that description but my goodness, he has his own charm, charisma and is definitely handsome. He comes off as strong, manly and dependable 🥰 and that’s much better than just a pretty boy face
@@mayl2773, I agree with you except about Vengo. He's not a kid but a good looking man. A goofy youngster (like many with their first love) but a man. Have you watched Candle in the Tomb: The Wrath of Time? Vengo is great in that one, more mature role. Love his little man bun and his beautiful hands. I really cannot get 'into' most Asian movies and series because the stars all look like young pretty boys.
