A lot like present day politics, isn't it? Actually a lot of misgiving was on the part of the mother. She had lost her child & was prevented from claiming his body. Naturally, she was bitter & resentful & spewed out a lot of bile to condemn Bai Qian. Even though, she knows how much the couple was in love & had already been acknowledged in the heavenly kingdom, it was just a matter of time to set the wedding date. Had that battle with Ching-Qiang not happened they would have married without a hitch.

And it couldn't be ignored as a temporary stint in a mortal life time to gain experience or a lesson of some sort. It would have an end of her engagement as an Immortal high goddess of the Fox tribe but for her taking the potion. And she still became even more reclusive in her life to avoid all sorts of gossip about her because of the engagements to celestial family that seemed to go no where. No actual wedding in sight. Petra, desde mi país (.ar) activo "Subtítulos" en la rueda dentada de "Configuración" arriba a la Derecha. Hay varios Idiomas menos "English" que ya viene sobreimpreso en el Video aunque debo decir que a veces aparecen los textos de dif. idiomas superpuestos. He notado que la Traducción al English muchas veces es + Correcta que la de Español.
