5:48 those negative comments are directed at FM and their anti right to repair stance. No onewheeel rider hates on another rider
Good point! There are a few negative people on Facebook and RUclips I’ve seen but like I said in the video, never met one in person!
In west Philadelphia born and raised, on the one wheel is where I make most of my ways, chillin out floating all cool checking out the architecture of the playgrounds and schools till I met a couple of guys who were on wheels that were no good, started having to charge in every neighborhood. I got triple their range and they got scared, but then I got a DOA board and I had to ship it to bel-air.

Hey how can I get in touch with Onewheeling groups in Philly. I’m in Philly just got a Pint X and decided to upgrade to a GT, so I would like to meet other onewheelers in the city! Love your video! Definitely, I have had the chance to explore more places in the city since I got my Pint X, so looking forward to ride the GT! I still love the PX with the Enduro upgrade and Hi Kush rear pad!

i have an old pint, it has like 600 miles on it which i know isn’t much but i don’t have much time to ride it anyways. my gt is arriving today, and i’m so exited! i’m ready to get more than 5 miles per ride lol

I've never been to one before! I ride on my 38mph electric scooter around the city with a buddy of mine but never joined a group ride before.

These things look sweet but I ride bikes and it’s a hard predicament. Never charge, increased fitness and weight management Vs a minor balance workout…

I personally never had a ghosting issue but from what I heard, it seems like that issue has been resolved

@@HDBnB1 treaded! I had power on issues at first and a lemon tire. Got first batch hardware 6064 delivered March 7th. My replacement GT and replacement tire has been flawless 💯 dope video. What’s your fav riding mode?
@@sendysent dude that’s great to hear! And tough choice… I really love the carvy feeling of flow so it’s great for city riding and tight turns between people and streets. But apex and high line are great for when I need the power and stability on paved trails and big roads
Love my onewheel. But the "right to repair" issue is stopping me from buying a GT.
I don’t blame you for that. Me personally I haven’t had issues with that but I’m sure if the time ever comes, my opinion might change
My XR is getting old, so I'll buy an aftermarket battery soon. When that happens with your GT.... trouble
Personally I want one because I can't repair it, and I like the inherent risk of ghosting it has.

I think there's a bit of "survivor's bias" regarding the GT and its issues, specifically around right-to-repair. You're asking other GT owners about these problems, but if those issues were enough to dissuade them, they wouldn't have bought a GT in the first place. I love the GT in theory, and if I could pick one up for cheap I might, but the fact that there's only one location IN THE WORLD that can fix it if something breaks is too much of a risk for me, especially considering that I'll be without my OneWheel for weeks while I wait for them to fix it and ship it back to me. I've outgrown my Pint, but I'm going to be looking at a used XR to upgrade, rather than a GT.

Are you guys familiar with One Stop Board Shop in Somerville, NJ? They were the reason Indecided to get my Pint X (and tomorrow receiving a GT). I wanted to know there was a a shop closer to Philly for repairs or getting accessories instead of dealing with FM. So far I was able to install an Enduro tire in my Pint X, and upgrade footpads and and valve stems through One Stop Board Shop. I’d rather have some experts work on my board! They did a good job and know OneWheels, EUC’s, E-boards and scooters. They are all riders and are very cool dudes. They do have OW clinics on Sundays from 12-5pm. If it weren’t for them, I don’t think I would have invested in a OneWheel.
