- The girls of Hiwassee High School faced off against Highlands High School in a volleyball match last month in North Carolina. Highlands High School allowed a young man to compete with their team...who ended up severely injuring a young female player from Hiwassee High School.
We reveal and react to this incident in North Carolina...and the reaction of the Cherokee County School Board. We also criticize the mainstream media...for their refusal to cover this story. They ALL refused to detail the safety risk being MALES competing against female which is why she suffered this injury. They just claimed safety risk and cancelled all games for the season while saying nothing about the fact that it was a much stronger male that was competing against the family and hurt her.

I reside in NC and have heard nothing about this. As a guy who started playing V-Ball in the early 80's when Beach started. I can tell you the difference between a mens net and a womens net is significant. As a guy who is 6' and an outside hitter, if we were playing someone we didn't like we would literally put a target on them and TRY to 6-pack them. (that's what it's called when you hit someone in the head.) We played a lot of mixed as well, but we would never 'swing' at a girl, but sometimes that stuff does happen.
No guys should not be playing womens sports. It's just not fair.

I see the woke school board as being most culpable here. This injured young lady may have very long term negative effects from this injury. The solution will likely lie in parents suing the schools and administrators into outer space for endangering their daughters. Money talks and I can see lawyers jumping all over this issue. In addition, a hope the female athletes start refusing to dignify these sham “competitions” by participating if a dude is involved. Unchecked, this developing problem will wreak competitive sports for women. I’m just waiting for some failed golfer dude to put on a wig and a skirt and try to go on the LPGA tour to win all the money.

The parents should look at a number followed by about 10 zeros, preceded by a dollar sign. If she is that badly hurt, she will have medical bills for a long time. Who to sue? The Harpeth Hall Girls school story was treated the same way by the news outlets in Nashville. the school was going to allow trans boys in and then had to retract their decision within days. I’m sorry, a girl who isn’t brainwashed wont compete (personal accountability) and at the very least the parents exercise their authority over their children and won’t let her compete (parental accountability). I have nothing against transgenders participating in sports at all but there needs to be some regulatation like maybe have transgenders participate in sports with their original gender for example a biological male who transitioned in to a woman should participate against men Lia Thomas should've been swimming against men plain and simple but I"m sure that makes too much sense

I took plenty of volleyballs to the cranium in high school gym class, and that shit hurts, although I was always able to shake it off. I never played in an intense, competitive environment, though-- just.pick-up games. Obviously, the damage you can sustain while playing volleyball at a high level like that girl is nothing to take lightly.
