No comparison to Chester. But if u watch live footage of Chester he passes the mic too. It’s part of connecting with your fans. All the great bands do it. Emily can sing circles around all of us and LP is not stupid. Quit hating and enjoy the new era in the spirit of Chester.

In some songs she sounds really great, almost like if she actually recorded those songs in the studio, in some other it feels like she will puke her lungs at any moment, maybe she should not sing all the previous songs or some of them and they should play more the new songs. Just my honest opinion.
Imagine having to walk out on stage in front of a massive pre established fanbase and sing songs you didn't write and were sung by such a beloved and cherished vocalist. She's nervous, this is a MASSIVE deal for her. Give her time to settle in.
Why Emily's voice is cracking every time so hurtful... She even doesn't sing some parts of the song because of that Give her pleeeeeease some recommendations on how to sing and add to that little distortion 😢😢😢
Well all of the songs were made by analysing chesters voice and his singing style, so it is hard for her to adjust to that, the did some changes to the songs but still, she has different vocals and a man's vocal are much stronger than female naturally shell do great on her own songs tho, song made for her vocals.
Emily is one of the best Alt Vocalists. This is her FIRST live with the band and has the weight on her shoulders. They honestly made her do too much starting out.

That's why he sang the way he sang, he also once said he wished nobody does to their voice what he did to his, he was 1 in a million nobody can scream like him so why are people expecting emily to do the same as chester and usually male vocal cords are much thicker then female vocal cords that's why we have different sounds, mike wanted a lead singer not cheaters copy, he found her she had the sound of linkin park in her voice he liked her voice, also people seem to forget that mike, brad, and rob were the actual linkin park creators before chester joined so it's Mike's band and he can do anything with that band..

Honestly i think it's just a matter of time ... We will get used to it. .. though in my view Deryk Whibly was the only one person who was really close to Chester's energy. She's pretty but she's trying too hard to portray Chester's part in this song and in the end. Honestly, the band should not have replaced Chester with a female who is trying too hard to fill Chester's shoes and appears to not be able to stay on tune or even be able to recite Chester's part word for word.. I grew up on Linkin Park, Nickleback, 3 doors down and evanescence. This young lady doesn't really fit the picture or the role of lead singer. I've checked out her previous band.. lets just say, not my cup of tea and from talking with a group I smoke with at work, they aren't fans either. Maybe give her different role allowing her time to improve so she may grow as an artist. I'm not saying she's bad, she just doesn't have what it takes to replace Chester nor fill his shoes. She lacks the vocals, the energy, and well she's a female in a band that's had mostly male listeners for the last 20+ years and a lot of men won't listen to a female or just can't vibe with a female because males and females give off different vibes when they sing(I only listen to 1 or 2 evanescence songs out of everything they've put out) Also, the band should revisit their hybrid theory album and take notes..
I'm not gonna lie, that last part kinda cancels out everything you said beforehand at least to me. You just said you've only listened to a couple Evanescence songs out of everything they've put out because males can't vibe with the way females sing or can't listen to them after saying LP shouldn't have "replaced" Chester with a *female* vocalist that's apparently trying to sound like him (despite most of the songs now being played in a different key to better fit her natural range but I digress), that's quite a shitty thing to say in my books especially if you're a guy and you're almost contradicting yourself when you said it's not to say she's a bad singer. She's not trying to be him nor are they trying to replace him, for the life of me I honestly don't get how that seems to be so lost on everyone that grew up on these guys and even the band themselves have been saying this for several years now, nobody could ever fill his shoes no matter how hard they try whether male or female and all Emily can really do is put her own stamp on their old songs while beginning her own legacy with brand new ones. She's been a fan of theirs since Hybrid Theory and this was her first show with them, so she was obviously extremely nervous and emotional at times and she just needs more time to get used to singing the older stuff on a regular basis but just go listen to that LP tribute band if you're so let down by the choice they've made, the point being it was their choice alone on whether they were ever gonna come back, let alone bring in someone new and they've absolutely earned the right to pick whoever they felt was the best fit whether the fans like it or not.
😂Just say she sucks. It's ok to. Not just for Linkin Park but in general she's not very good. I'm a musician who's been around national acts and even played with a few and this is terrible. The whole show she's strained even on the song she wrote with them. She can barely scream and her cleans don't make up for it. Sounds like a bad cover band

Adding her to the band, the band should go under a different name. Oh and she's a Scientologist that doesn't believe in mental illnesses. It's plan and simple, she has no place in Linkin Park, a band that has stood in support of mental health.

She's still learning. You just have to think about who she's singing the part of! She still needs a bit more time to get into the band. Give her 1-2 years and then she won't be struggling anymore. Especially when she goes on stage with the new songs.

I’m excited for Emily. Her voice blew out here but she sounded great later on and on the new single. Can’t wait to get the album!
i hope she is gonna be able to do a complete tour without breaking her voice. Chester's vocal parts are not the easiest at all
