Things I forgot to mention: 1) arcane tempo stacks get purged individually so maintaining 5 of them also helps you not get purged on alter times/temporal shields/ etc 2) a list of important buffs to spellsteal (if you aren't familiar with the game already) is available in my discord under the FAQ-Basics section
Always been a big PvE'er, clearing mythic raids and such, but really wanting to PvP and expand my credentials, and this helped a ton for shifting my perspective. Also some min/maxing, if you Touch while Barrage is in the air, the Barrage that's in the air hits with the Touch debuff and counts towards the accumulated explosion dmg. ;) Although it probably isn't much unless it's a barrage with high charges. You need to make a video on how you are preparing for solo shuffle battlegrounds. I know they won't implement the full version with rating in patch 10.2, but they are definitely adding a version for "public" testing of sorts on the LIVE servers.

mmmm. arcane isn’t really a wizard class. it’s best paired with melees such as outlaw, sub, feral, warrior, ww monk. if i HAD to play a no voice comp id play ww mage or warrior mage both with a resto druid
How do you get the "most ideal scenario" when by 5 seconds after the gates open, a DH/DK is already ZUGZUGZUGZUGZUGing you with 50 instant CDs that require no setup?

Does arcane bother with Fire Blast? All my favourite "instant/kiting" spell keybinds are used up, lol. Is it a dead spell like Arcane shot is for survival? Love coming back to your guides when the mage-bug bites!
Thanks for this amazing guide. As Arcane I'm plateauing at around 2400 and it feels like I don't do enough damage, I'm always last DPS on the scoreboard. Took the advice on Arcane Tempo from your last pvp breakdown video, as well as getting more value on ring of fire. Still feels like I'm maybe not doing enough DPS during the burst window. I stopped doing peel sheeps / rof, but I still sheep healer when possible and still spellsteal buffs like Heroism / Power Infusion / BoFreedom. Should I just stop doing all that and only do damage during this window ? Thanks again.
not really enough context here. VS some classes you simply can't out PVE them on the leaderboards, but i wouldn't really only be concerned with scoreboard damage. even in your comment you mention "Still feels like I'm maybe not doing enough DPS during the burst window." so record your own gameplay and see if you are consistently meeting all the requirements listed in the vid 1) do you have 5 stacks of tempo while bursting 2) did u start ur surge with clearcasting 3) are you putting the burst into a target with damage reduction? 4) could you have pre applied nether tempest for a small increase in dmg? 5) did you get kicked a lot when it was obvious to juke cant rly think of more but u get the point. you def dont wanna just stop peeling only spam damage lol, thats not how the momentum of a WoW game works and you're fixating way too hard on dps leaderboards if that's the case.

I just had pretty much one question you said there was a soft cap for i think one of the stats is there a cap for haste rating?I can’t seem to find an answer to this question on icy veins, or mmo champion. Can you basically just get haste on every piece or is there a point where you want to start grabbing mastery?

There's another problem with concentration where it doesn't give you nether precision (20% damage on blast) because that talent specifically requires the clearcast be "consumed".
Great guide, got me really excited to try out arcane mage. One question - how do you do that when you switch pvp talent, it appears/disappears on the action bar that you want (for example acraneosphere)? I was looking for it in your macros, but I can't find anything like that there.

Aeghis epic guide m8 keep it up! Why don't you use Touch of the Magi before Arcane Surge since it adds up a lot of damage from the Aracane Surge and why Tempest after Magi and not before Arcane Surge? Also it would be fun if you make a Frost guide too since you play insane Frost too!
