You can't do that unless the cat trust you (I mean for a stray cat) so I guess the left him there because he is attended by that person, that is his territory, he is well and he is and old cat, so why make him suffer changing everything he knows, sometimes is very difficult for a stray old cat to adapt to another type of life, we used to feed 2 cats and we gave them a place in the porch next to our door, with water shelter, both females Lulu2 and Misha, Lulu was confident, we could caress her, misha, despite the years she lived with us, the babies she had and we cared for (and we gave up adoption except for those who were introduced to my family,(until we could catch her and castrate her), she never let them touch her, and always made a hissing noise, but she always returned to her shelter, Lulu2 had 2 kittens, and after a month she died, likely poisoned by a neighbor, x the way we found her, but she would have been part of our cat family too
@@GloomyMarshmallow I don't think so, I think the orange guy is a stray that the family feeds, as they said he knows how hard life on the street is. But being a male cat who is outside, there could be a spraying problem. Maybe they can adopt another stray cat to keep this one company. So glad she healed up. That was horrible to see what that infection did to her skin. How wonderful that lady adopted her.
And some have the audacity to say cats - or animals - cannot feel sympathy, compassion and empathy. This cat proves them wrong on all point.

exactly. there was absolutely no self-benefit to the orange cat to protect the little kitten. he simply chose to protect him out of the warmth of his heart.
People who are saying cats dont feel "sympathy, compassion and empathy" are mostly cat haters, they doesn't understand cats or never had a cat before..
A soul is mind will emotions - God will restore the animal kingdom as everything else will be too.
Animals that closely relate to us have emotions like us.
However not all animals have compassion. Reptiles and insects are good examples.

Big thanks to everyone who played a part in saving this beautiful and couragous kitten who suffered so much. I am so glad that he now has a loving home. Please also look after the older cat who protected him throughout his ordeal.

Everybody can help animals in crisis. Don't cry for the animals if you won't help them.
Note: I have two dogs and three cats in my house, and I always buy them a big bag of food. I always carry a bag with that food in my bag, and when I see a dog or a cat in the street I feed them. I can't do much, but at least I do something. I do not stay crying and mourning in the distance 💪💪

Рыжего скорее всего не забрали, так как он считается местным (он явно ухоженнее чем котёнок. Имел имя и уже жил 8 лет в той округе). В конце спасения с рыжим вышли из подъезда, так что думаю он живет там и о нём заботятся жильцы :)

I think it is wonderful that the rescue team brings animal friends over to say goodbye to the animals that they are rescuing. It's so sweet of them.

I agree. I would have rescued them together. The other, caring cat deserved a happier life too.
They should have been rescued together, but the truth is you can only rescue as much as you can i am a private citizen use my own money resources in rescuing cats sometimea it gets overwhelming especially when it feels like you are the only one in the community who cares and people around tends to hurt the animals you rescued
theres another one where they find a kitten that is stuck with their dead father.
Once they had the kitten checked out and everything they let it say goodbye to it's father one last time.
Think about it.
Someone went out of their way to get the corpse of a cat, then they stored it for days and kept it in good enough condition just so the kitten could say goodbye.
Good people exist.

I wish someone would adopt them together. It's sad to see them going their saperate ways after everything they've been through together.
But in my opinion, keeping ipno by sarang's side will remind him about his past. So it's better to adopt sarang and let ipno on his own environment since ipno already 8 years lived on that residence

I think it cuz stray cats are conditioned to the streets. They mentioned how the old cat has been on the street for 8 years. Put into a new environment such as a home it may not really work out because they lived their entire lives on the streets. It's like taking someone from the city and putting them in the woods. Completely different environment and it might not work out. I think this is why stray cats are like spayed or something and put back on to the streets.
I am sad to realize that, at the end of the story, the kitten and Ipno were separated. I imagined that the two would be together, because they had an affective bond. I hope they can meet again.

Because the yellow cat does not belong to a family, it lives in the building. He is still "stray" even though he has been living in the building for eight years, and the kitten's injuries and treatment deserve a family attention.
Ipno is an older stray cat, who is actually controlling the local population. Not all cats are made to be home pets, some of them are better off at the streets due to aforementioned reason(territorial population control- otherwise there would be a major issue with stray cats in this area).Kittens are more responsive for human interaction and domestication. I am sure Ipno is being well looked after and well respected around that apt complex - after all he has a name given by the locals and looks pretty healthy :)
Also, it is pretty common in bigger cities to practice spay/neuter and release. Such stray cats also help with the rodent issue.
Probably because it's a feral cat. You can't adopt a feral cat. lol. That cat has its territory where people probably regularly feed it.
It seemed to be comfortable enough around the humans that regularly feed them to let them pet or carry, but it's still meant to be outside.
I don't know if it is a stray or feral, but.. that would mean someone abandoned it or it got lost.
There can be feral cats that are "used to" familiar humans after all. But it's a full grown cat, not kitten.
I feel bad for Ipno, I wished they would of found a home for him too. He was a sweetheart to protect the kitten.

To everyone saying Ipno should be taken as well. It wouldn't be fair to him. A cat isn't as reliant on us as we think. He's lived comfortably in that area for 8yrs and since he can protect the kitten it's clear he has high ranks among the other cats.

NO CAT WANTS to be feral- it's the HUMANS fault that they have become feral. Therefore, it is HUMANS who have the clear and constant responsibility to take them out of their horrible existences alnd into loving homes.
REMEMBER: Humans domesticated DOGS, but CATS WILLINGLY approached humans to form inter-dependant colonies. They DESERVE our affection and care.

A cat that lived his whole life in the street wouldn’t adapt inside. The kitten can because he is still young but cats are creatures of habit. It would be cruel to ipnu to force him change his lifestyle so later in life.

What is beautifully unique about the Korean people unlike anything I have ever seen in any other country, is how they let animals say goodbye to each other. Random strays they pick up in their arms to say goodbye to each other. It seems the Koreans recognize relationships far deeper than any other people I know.❤️

Even the oldies too! in my country, animal-respect is only for youngsters, the oldies? nah! they saw stray cat walked outside their house, they can kick with foot or broom, or even poured them with hot boiling water when they see cat fight.. poor lowly brained human

He really does deserve a loving life at a forever home, but I doubt he'd want it. Chances are hes got a mate, parent, sibling, or kittens to take care of. While it would keep Ipno safe, It would make Ipno unhappy, and would worry all the kitties who know him. The best choice is to let him stay a stray, with someone caring for those strays and giving them food, water, and a warm place to sleep

Ipno didn’t need to be rescued because he lived at that facility. He was fat and allowed a person to walk to him and pick him up, that’s not somethin a stray does.
But Ipno and Sarang have a bond. They would both be better off staying together.
Mary Olson Ipno is 8 years old and is use to the life he lives. Sarang more than likely can never go back outside. They have a bond yes, however that doesn’t mean that Ipno has to be put up in a house.

My God, this cat has been through so much pain in his life.. I am grateful to those people who saved this cat and were able to shelter him, a second chance is necessary for everyone who found himself in a difficult time.
That relationship was so deep. Never heard of such a thing. A random "male" cat will protect a kitten? No way. Very rare.

Emre Yavuzalp i have two stray male cats outside my house that adopted another stray kitten as their own so now theyre a pack of three, and i feed them all. There are fighter cats here and they all protect eachother from those territorial cats. Yea animals even MALE animals can adopt other babies and be kind. Its not always about survival

This wound doesnt look like any other animal attack. On him smth poured. Smth so hot or maybe a acid. so his skin burned and dropped. If a person do that with a intention hope you also have same physical pains in life.

dude it is not acid burn because hair wil not regrow if it is acid burn or any other burn.
I think the kitty was attacked and received a bite from another stray (possible sick) cat and that bite may caused an infection from inside or something like this. At last that's what I ended up understanding. I don't think this is from burning or acid, if that was the case the wound would simply scar after sometime and fur wouldn't regrow.

Sometimes it's best to leave strays especially matured ones alone because he probably grow up on the streets. It's like releasing captive bred animals into the wild, they won't survive very long

Awww how happy he was looking at the end... I love that, I adopted my cat in very bad condition, in fact I found her at the point to doi, covered by insects, burned by the sun and being living skeleton, no one wanted to stay close to her because of the way she was looking, but I saved her and it's the best thing I have ever done in my life, now it's precious white fatty cat :3

I have two cats from the same litter who were found in bad shape at a few weeks old in summer. The mother wouldn't take care of them, so they needed fostering and had infections and needed eye drops and medicine. I wound up keeping them.
Beatriz, Hope she has been spayed to prevent over population of cats and the harm her kittens and their kittens might also experience in the future.

My male cat liked to take care of kitten.
He lost his mom and his siblings when he was a kitten, I took care of him and kept him always clean.
Maybe that's why he liked to adopt kitten, he could relate being lonely. It was so funny seeing how he wouldn't let the kitten play unless he done giving her a bath. He was a clean freak, thanks to me 🤣

Nastia it’s okay, I think Ipno is better off as a stray, he’s well fed by the people in the building, and well known around the neighbourhood for 8 years, that’s a long time for a stray, and that shows how well he’s doing, putting him up for adoption with Sarang could stress him it cuz he will be confined to a smaller space, my cat was a stray and she tried to run away many times, but she eventually came back
Ipno is an example of fraternal love ♥️😢♥️😢♥️this make me cry see how animals have more sweet feelings than many humans. Thanks for saving him. Poor cat he was in pain and passing hard life. Thanks for helping him. Helps boths to find a family and caring owner.

This one was very hard to watch. That poor baby! After all he’s been through, it’s wonderful to see him feeling better and living with a kind family who loves him. They gave him a beautiful name as well, Sarang!

@@sueb2898 If you watched the video you'd have realised that they specifically say it was most likely that he was bitten by some stray cats and got infected, making it a flesh eating disease.
