I'm happy to see that BMW has addressed issues such as the brake reservoir, seat and suspension but I'm curious to know if they improved the radiator mounts and the rims. The radiator mounts were cheap in the past and easily broken if dropped with or without guards. The rims on previous models were cheap and easily bent. Everything else looks great and should much improve comfort and durability for on and off road use. Congrats on your purchase, I can't wait to trade up for mine.
I've seen the Wunderlich Adventure Protection Bars mounted on a few F800's and they seem to be pretty durable and improve the look of the bike in my opinion... I'm going to install them in spring, as soon as my GS gets out of the winter-storage...
I've heard that the best from the previous model to the 2013 model, is that now the front suspension is not too soft anymore .. which is ofcourse, VERY important.
Thanks for your video. I'm interessted in buying this bike. I currently own a 2011 Z1000 but I found out I'm more of a F800 GS type ! More storage and all. Thanks again. Ride Safe.
Hi there, congrats on your new bike and ride safe (human side up-machine side down) .Just a question, if you've broken in the engine, could you tell me approximately at how many RPM does the engine work when cruising at 130 kph (80mph) on 6th gear?
I have a 2012 F800GS and just everyday driving I average around 4.5 L/100km or 63mpg imperial. If I take a leisurely ride on the back roads and cruise between 80 and 90km I have gotten 3.5/100km or 80.5mpg. I will post the video.
I like this comment of your's,make a wish and send it on prayer .May god the Almighty answer your call,it's just a matter of patient because today I'm going to collect mine which is the same colour on video .You take care and all the best.
Wonderful video and thanks. I'll be buying mine in February, happy riding and ride safe!
Thanks for watching!
I went with Altrider Crashbars in Black. They look great and seem solid
The comfort seat is great. If you can get it as a no charge option go for it.

To follow up that question, how are the vibrations from the engine at highway speeds?
Thanks for watching!
How did you get it so early? None of the 2013 line are even on the BMW Motorrad Canada website yet, and this is late October?
Thanks for watching!
The tire pressure sensors are working wireless. They are powered by the rotating wheel. Thats why they only start working at around 10km/h.
