Hi Emma ! Gosh you’ve had a busy week !! I’m so happy you took your wellness lunch , and not tempted to work through. Regarding my parents house, yes this was our family home . My sister and I watched the house being built , I’d be 3 and my sister 5 ..... I can remember the house being only a few bricks high , I’d jump from room to room ☺️. My Grandad would help my Dad , I’ve very fond memories. My Dad is a carpenter so all the wood in the house Is his work . He made a beautiful wooden open plan staircase ( I can remember there being a ladder to the upstairs during the build ) . He made the fitted wardrobes and made a fabulous fitted kitchen , all wood and beautifully hand carved . We moved in when I was 5 . I felt so lucky as a little girl, and so proud of my Dad . And to complete our home my Mum made all the curtains and any soft furnishings . She’d make dresses , pinafores for us and was always knitting away to create cute cardigans and jumpers ☺️. So this move will be emotional for us all as a family . We moved there in 1972 .Always look forward to your videos, thank you . Sorry for delay in my response as my daughter was taken in to hospital last week as an emergency, she’s had surgery, and doing really well now thank our lord who kept her safe . Sending love 🌻🍁🌻
I'm glad your daughter is doing well. That must be very emotional all those memories connected to your home. Your parents sound very clever to be able to make their home inside and out 😍
Praise God you and your Mini Me is ok. So sorry to hear about the accident. Big hugs for your baby girl. My heart broke to heart to hear that she burst into tears.❤❤❤ Praying for the man to have integrity and do the right thing regarding the costs.😢❤ and to fix the car 🚗
Greetings Emma, new subscriber here. I'm from USA North Carolina. I've been decluttering for quite awhile and still get surprised when I see new things to get rid of. 😂
Hi Emma, so glad that the accident was minor & youre both safe. Well done on growing your channel. Im not sure if anyone has suggested this but if you moved your coffee machine to the area on the left that you cleared in this video & had a coffee station there it may stop the clutter. Thank you for taking the time to share your life with us. It's good to see that others struggle too. ❤
Hi Susan thanks for the well wishes. I am going to TRY not to put anything there at all and I have asked my husband to stop charging phones there. If it becomes a dumping ground again I am going to try your idea! Have a good evening
Another brilliant video Emma! Kitchen looking fantastic...I thought the little tray which you were sorting bits and pieces from was so cute 😍...ps i had to laugh about your managers enthusiasm ie lack off but was funny how you were relaying story 😅🙈 He might as well have stayed at home haha....you seem very competent and professional and talented..
I find a 10 minute tidy keeps things in order. Grab a wash basket and pick up everything that needs putting away then go room to room putting things away. 😊
Someone drops teddies with parachutes? I have never heard about that before. I can just imagine looking up to see a teddy bear flying toward my face LOL! That sounds strangely terrifying
Words of encouragement are one of the love languages for a reason. Some people find it very very hard. I am guessing that your line manager is one of them. I struggle with it and wish I could do better. Ironing? What's that? 😂 For the bits you have left from your counter, I would suggest putting them in a small container in your kitchen junk drawer. If they don't fit there, what room would be best to store them? What do you do in the minutes where you are waiting in your car? Could you keep a book there to read for a few minutes at a time? Be ruthless with the items from your basket! No more things under lounge furniture. ❤ You teased us with what's new in your daughter's room!
