Watch this video carefully, you will realise that after a solo by Walter Davis jnr, Freddie,Johny & Curtis wanted to play & Art changed the beat of drums & thats when they stopped & allowed Reggie Workmen to play his solo. This is what I call the art of music.

I can't help but sit here thinking Art Blakey probably played this song a million times, yet the smile at the end feels so authentic that you know he loved playing for people. There are other recordings of this song with less errors, but none with as much heart as this one has.

    Art Blakey - Drums
    Walter Davis Jr. - Piano
    Reggie Workman - Bass
    Johnny Griffin - Tenor Saxophone
    Freddie Hubbard - Trumpet
