I've always been more of a hateful pessimist, so your optimism actually shocked me.. the way you talk about curiosity, discovering what you can achieve, the thought of making it tomorrow, and smiling while everyone else cries... Honestly, it made me emotional because nobody has ever really worded it like this. I'll remember those words.

yea, honestly. I'm just a curious dude. I don't take many things personally. If someone did something to piss me off, i would just think: "what if i wasn't pissed off about what he/she did, what would happen?" I guess curiosity leads me in some ways, but too much curiosity could be a problem too.

I told my friend that I liked her recently, and I got rejected lol. It actually hurt quite a lot, especially when she told me that she was already talking to another guy.
I didn't give up of course. I thought it through and decided that I need to develop myself more. I still want her too. But I taught myself to think that it's my mission to be with her, not our mission to be with each other; this way I can stay in touch with who I am without becoming too obsessed with her.
And the way you said it made me look at it in a new way.. I really need to see how deep this rabbit hole can go.

trust me my friend, would you rather be the person that never got rejected and got the girl the first try, or be the person that tried his very best and got it. What would be a more meaningful experience? I'm fine with either options, but it would probably be more interesting if the latter was the case. But yea, honestly i think for young people like us, we just gotta learn how to be rejected. and despite rejection, despite the hurt , despite the pain, we keep moving forward. This applies to other areas in life as well as we grow older.
but yea, i wanna see how deep the rabbit hole is too. Even if it's not that deep, at least i know.
