Roborock S6 Filter blocked or wet without disassembling

I just had enough of this f**** p**** of s*** so I decided to fix this problem on the easy way... Its obviously a design failure from Xiaomi / Roborock to NOT let you clean the inhaust from the little motor... so get your tongs out and tune it

You’re a genius! I successfully used this method to clear the filter on my S6 Max. I didn’t remove the grid, however.
I used painter’s tape to mask-off most of the grid and then more painter’s tape to seal the vacuum nozzle around the remaining (unmasked) grid section. I let the vacuum run for about 10 minutes and tested the vacuum - Success!

It is good to give it a little bumping on the side while vacuum cleaner is sucking, to loosen the dirt better

Thanks for the video. I have the same issue.
What I recognized is, that the included brush/knife tool exactly fits the grid. So with this tool I was able to clean the strainer. I don't know yet if it worked, but I am optimistic 🙂

Yep, this worked. I duct taped some hose to the vacuum attachment to really get in there at 90 degrees and under the strainer.

Thank Works on S5 MAX,too. The plastic grid is destroyed, but the error message is gone. In suction operation with a filter, this grid is of no use anyway. Or rather obviously: they would have used a detachable grille if they had wanted to! Just look at older models, there its easy to reach and no grid.
