Can't really blame her, she was given the solo and then Mr. Shue took it back and turned it into an audition and had the glee club decide who wins knowing that the others aren't fond of Rachel. It was Mr. Shue's fault to begin with, he lead Rachel on and doubted Kurt's singing ability just because the song was originally sung by a woman

@@idc4163 Do you know how many competitions they won because of Rachel? At the end of the day if you want to win a competition you have to pick your strongest player
@@assyrianprincess3 The problem is you don’t know that she’s consistently the strongest player because it’s rare that others are actually given a chance. I’m not saying she’s the worst singer, but being the best at singing something like defying gravity doesn’t mean you’re the best at singing something like King of New York. Most people don’t dislike that Rachel got solos, it’s that she got nearly every solo for many stylistically different songs without audition processes (and also that she frequently whined when she didn’t).
@@assyrianprincess3 You mean the same girl who got the group bounced out of Nationals because she couldn't keep her hands off a guy and vice versa? Suzanne Cap It wasn't taken away she just had to audition for it which isn't a big deal and Mr. Shue should of had an audition for it in the first place. But I do agree they shouldn't of had to sing it in front of biased judges. What Mr.She did that wasn't fair is just give it to her and not give Kurt a chance to try.
Suzanne Cap The second one is ridiculous! It was unfair to give Tina a solo because Rachel thought she was gonna get it? I'm sure Tina thought she was gonna get a solo one day, but for 3 seasons straight that never happened 😧 Rachel needs to learn to share the spotlight.

Everybody is meant to back her up. Guess what? By S2 I hated her guts. And by S3 when Murphy stopped giving the whole cast solos and handed them all to Lea .... that was my nail went in the coffin.

Tbh he was right when he said he dressed better than Rachel. Kurt dresses like a Vogue model and Rachel dresses like a grandmother and a toddler at the same

Rachel: Maybe one day we'll be able to create teaching moments without ruining my life." Like really? It's a solo. One solo is not gonna ruin your entire life. Honestly, I'm surprised Mr. Schue didn't kick out Rachel because of her freaking attitude alone.
Anyone find it weird Kurt is crossing his legs, but they are pretending to be in wheelchairs meaning they have no use of their legs meaning he shouldn't be able to cross them if they were to be in character?

@@karolinaw3186 What did Rachel do wrong though? She was given the solo her first by Shue by the way, it is taken back, she is forced to compete for it using bias judges.. She stated her concern, she was then insulted and then in private told Shue she was unhappy.
@@GA-fn8hr oh, in that case I do agree with you.To be honest, I forgot the wider context of the situation
@@jiannebelle3827 Amen. It wasn't fair to Rachel or Kurt tbh.
Kurt you go boy
Your right hand, Brittany!
I don't think Will should''ve given Rachel the part. He should've held auditions.
She would end up carrying his baby ❤
I get where Rachel is coming from because if someone gave you something and then took it away since someone complained, wouldn't you be angry? It also definitely would've been a popularity contest. And Kurt was a bit extra at the end with the turn too
Megan Trory People should have been able to audition to start with. Do you know how many solos Mr. Schue just hands Rachel from here on out? He never holds auditions for solos in competitions. He just decides they are going to Rachel. So this only really ever happened once when it should have happened for every competition.
@@idc4163 at this point the answer is one solo.
@@assyrianprincess3
You mean the same girl who got the group bounced out of Nationals because she couldn't keep her hands off a guy and vice versa?
The same girl who was so obsessed with being on every page of the yearbook that she got the club in trouble for being in a commercial and Will had to take the fall for it?
The same girl who put her rival in danger by sending her to a crack house, thus getting her transferred to the rival team?
The same girl who used statutory rape and grooming (Sandy Ryerson's incident in the pilot) to her advantage because she didn't get the solo?
The same girl who has a temper tantrum and threatens to quit every single time someone else gets the spotlight?
The same girl who made a racist comment when Mercedes asked to diversify the song selections when Will asked the kids for suggestions ("It's Glee Club, not Krunk Club")
"Your right hand Britney"😂😂😂
Burt's the best dad ever
“Your right hand Brittany “ hilarious
I just noticed that Brittany kept her hand up even after everyone else put theirs down 😂
Bless her heart
I laughed at the way Kurt was sitting in the wheelchair at 1:19
I really hated Rachel in moments like these but I mean, she's one of my favourite characters lol
Suzanne Cap This wasn't unfair at all. He gave them each a fair chance to prove who could sing better. If Rachel wanted the solo so bad she has to be willing to work hard for it because competition is a big part of performers life.
Suzanne Cap Rachel is unfair to the show she gets The most screentime in every season (maybe except season1-2)
Suzanne Cap The second one is ridiculous! It was unfair to give Tina a solo because Rachel thought she was gonna get it? I'm sure Tina thought she was gonna get a solo one day, but for 3 seasons straight that never happened 😧
Rachel needs to learn to share the spotlight.
Suzanne Cap Ok it's time to tell you some facts that you obviously aren't aware of:
1. Defying gravity wasn't her first solo.
She had sung a duet with Finn called you're the one that I want.
2. Even if it was her former solo, that wouldn't excuse her behaviour. When Tina got her first solo Rachel threw a temper tantrum over there even quitting t he glee club and if you are a normal person you would understand that if Rachel had the right to throw a temper tantrum over Kurt auditioning then Tina would be justified in throwing a tantrum.
3. Even if it was her first solo, it would even be Kurt's first solo so again her behaviour was unacceptable.
4. Why is Kurt being blamed for the unfairness of one Will Schuester for not giving the audition earlier?
5. The solo was neither 'taken' nor 'stolen' by Kurt. Rather gaining of the solo was made fair.
6. Stop supporting Rachel for every single thing and start seeing the right side and the wrong side for once!
I just loved with Rachel Berry's night-time rituals
And people still don’t understand why Rachel is hated. Defying Gravity (Kurt), West Side Story (Mercedes), Nationals (Tina) amongst others.... “it was my role.” “you promised it to me” “these are all my roles” how many more times does Rachel have to say it before it sinks in? Everybody is meant to back her up. Guess what? By S2 I hated her guts. And by S3 when Murphy stopped giving the whole cast solos and handed them all to Lea .... that was my nail went in the coffin.
Here’s my thing I get we’re Rachel is coming from because WILL did give HER the solo. What he should have done in the first place is hold auditions and let EVERYONE WHO WANTED TO AUDITION AUDITION and not give Rachel false hope so it would have been a fair fight even though he did do that in end but he should have done it from the beginning
I can't believe Kurt and Rachel are competing against each other for the solo in wicked which is a practice version
Tbh he was right when he said he dressed better than Rachel. Kurt dresses like a Vogue model and Rachel dresses like a grandmother and a toddler at the same
Brittney😂😂😂😂😂
Brittany
LMAO the fact that he had to refer to Rachel. YOURE THE TEACHER bruh!
“I promise to vote for you” ah I love Mercedes
To be honest I would have been mad too. And felt it was a personal attack coming from Kurt. That's why I believe teachers should decide if they're going the traditional route or whoever they happen to like for the song first. To lessen in-fighting
Congratulations Burt! For the rest of time itself you win the best dad award
nicole:hey..uh..kurt may i talk to you alone?
I totally agree with you Rachael barry
1:18 I won't understand if anyone sees that and not squeal like THE WAY HE'S LIMPING ON A WHEELCHAIR HOW DO YOU EVEN- 😂😭
Brit raising the wrong hand made me laugh irrationally hard
Why do they have money for 12 wheelchairs but not a handicapable bus
Long Night Moon the AVH made them
It was a discount
asked Rachel to do it at the start.
Burt lol
Burt is the best
I know I’m like the only one that knows this but Burt mentioned Ronnie Spector, Shes the lead singer of the ronettes! I’m fangirling excuse me
The way hurt rolls in the wheelchair
Look, he should've done that earlier and not given Rachel the part first. But Rachel, not everything is an attack on you.
You're right hand Brittany
THE WHEELCHAIR SPIN WAS AMAZING
I love when Rachel is being Rachel
Rachel: Maybe one day we'll be able to create teaching moments without ruining my life."
Like really? It's a solo. One solo is not gonna ruin your entire life. Honestly, I'm surprised Mr. Schue didn't kick out Rachel because of her freaking attitude alone.
If I had a quarter for every time Rachel did something that would have gotten me kicked out of Glee Club IRL, I'd be rich.
Anyone find it weird Kurt is crossing his legs, but they are pretending to be in wheelchairs meaning they have no use of their legs meaning he shouldn't be able to cross them if they were to be in character?
“queer as a three dollar bill” same tbh
I literally only just realised. Burt and Kurt...
God I'm unobservant
Funny now there best friends
Kurt: you all know that I'm mch more popular than Rachel. And I dress better 😂😊
All : I promise to vote for
Mercedes : you
Like that's
I know that it's upsetting to have something taken away from you that someone already promised you, and that's on my shue, but the how Rachel acted about that was just pathetic and petty
Rachel was being overdramatic. I know she was upset, but she literally told Mr.Shue that he ruined her life.
Suzanne Cap Ok it's time to tell you some facts that you obviously aren't aware of:

Kurt's Dad is the best, especially for that flame thrower comment.
Rachel is always so extra and dramatic
Will should have had auditions for every solo, every competition instead of just giving it to Rachel. Like he gave her a solo in ever single competition except season 2 sectionals, and the only reason he didn't have her sing lead is because of Ms. Philsbury.
Addressing and correcting this list that was posted multiple times.
1. Defying gravity wasn't her first solo.- She had sung a duet with Finn called you're the one that I want. AT THIS POINT IN TIME IT WAS THE 1ST SOLO, (A SONG SHE SINGS BY HERSELF) HE GAVE HER.
A TANTRUM SHE REMAINED SHUE OF A CONVERSATION THEY HAD ABOUT WSS.
3. Even if it was her first solo, it would even be Kurt's first solo so again her behaviour was unacceptable. THAT MAKES NO SENSE ALL SHE DID WAS QUESTION THE JUDGING.
4. Why is Kurt being blamed for the unfairness of one Will Schuester for not giving the audition earlier? NO ONE BLAMED KURT, WHY IS RACHEL TO BLAME FOR SHUE UNFAIRNESS HERE?
5. The solo was neither 'taken' nor 'stolen' by Kurt. Rather gaining of the solo was made fair. IT WAS TAKEN BACK SHE HAD IT BY HERSELF THEN SHE NO LONGER DID.
6. Stop supporting Rachel for every single thing and start seeing the right side and the wrong side for once! STOP ONLY LOOKING AT ONE SIDE AND REALIZE THIS SITUATION WAS UNFAIR TO BOTH OF THEM.
ugh Rachel I could not stand to be in the same room as her I swear
This is how parents should fight for their children
Wow it's so sad how anxious Rachel is with that voice she has. Ok, she's annoying, but I can only see how unsure she is, cause if she was thinking that she's the best she wouldn't be afraid of competition, she would be like whatever, bring it on imma beat u anyway
Rachel, it's one song, it's not going to ruin your life.
1:43 someone said I promise to vote just for you 😂
Mercedes 😂
Burt is an unproblematic king
I think Rachel is being selfish even though she is good at singing doesn't mean she get everything she should let people shine once in awhile am I right
munmun fong yes. I hate her. Always have, always will. There is nothing that happens to her that will ever make me feel even a little sympathy for her

PREACH KURT!
rachel thinks she can have everything first she didnt want to help the guy in the wheel chair and then she says this is unfair
If lea michelle is exactly like rachel i feel so freaking sorry for everyone she went to school with
"queer as a three dollar bill" is my favourite line
None of them are paraplegic, why they're in a wheelchair?
How did Ryan Murphy get away with having such a horrible monster as his main character for so many years?
Guess that's why Chanel Oberlin didn't last long
.
Can't believe Kury got the chance to sing his favourite song but then sang the wrong note so he wouldn't get the part, so his dad wouldn't have to deal with more phone calls and other shenanigans from haters 🥺
God bless anyone reading this.
I really want Burt to shout at Schue's face, because mainly he declined Kurt not Figgins. Schue is always a coward
Even though both Kurt and Rachel acting as Diva, and (in the show) they keep compete for solo's slot, but everybody love Kurt much more than Rachel.
KURT IS SO YOUNG HERE
He sticks up for Kurt and Artie but then allows them to bully Rachel
