Yeah, at the beginning, I wasn't sure if I liked Rachel or not. My thoughts were 'eh, she's annoying but it's only the first half of the season, give her some time to feel her way out or whatever. As the show went on, she started changing a lot and I had a love hate relationship with her. By the time she moved to New York, I began to really like her and Kurt as best friends. Then at this point I was like 'this is kind of forced to get a conflict but at the same time..." Oh and one other thing, please don't make Kurt angry. I don't like it when he's angry.

Puck joined the army, Quinn went to YALE both Rachel and Kurt got into nyada, Brittany became a “genius” Mercedes got a recording contract and Finn was at the school. All Santana had to do was try out to be the understudy of Rachel’s literal dream job and got it immediately. No one had any reason to be jealous of her.

I never understood the writers. Rachel has been taken down a peg or to by different characters. Artie, Puck, Mercedes, Quinn, Santana or Kurt. The writers didn't develop allow Rachel any growth or take a lesson ever beyond an episode. The same with Blaine starting during end of season 3 until season 6. Rachel and Blaine both regressed so much it wasn't funny. She was the lead character but stunting her growth made the Glee writing team look badly. They also destroyed Tina for no reason. Rachel shouldn't have any friends or opportunities.

The only reason Blaine was regressed was because Murphy de-aged him from being older than Kurt because they wanted to keep Darren with the McKinley kids for extra seasons. Dumbest move ever. Would have made way more sense to have Klaine be the same age in the same town with those problems.
Ryan Murphy has this obnoxious little habit of throwing character development under the bus at the end of an episode or season, just so he can keep running a gag or writing jokes about the same things. He's done this in "Glee", "Scream Queens", "American Horror Story"...
