Using the meso puddle lights. They're waaaay brighter than factory. The factory bulbs are a joke
Ok so I’m having the same issue from day one I think it’s a switch issue my drive side will not come on with the switch but the passenger side will.. also on auto when you walk up to it both sides come on like normal.. that’s why I’m thinking it’s switch problem I don’t think it’s anything with your wiring or with what I’m doing it’s all plug and play.. I have 4 runner life style looking in to it.. i don’t think it’s a ground problem… I appreciate the reply and the video.. if anything I’ll let you know how it turns out for me and I hope you get it worked out on your end
Yes that's exactly the same with me. When switch is set to auto, it works like factory. But when I turn the switch to on, only the passenger side lights up
What year is your 4runner i have a 21 and my switch is not working but the lights work and i got only the 2 wire connectors no 4 wire so im wondering maybe they sent it for the wrong year
I have a 2022 ORP
Shortly after my install video somewhere along the way the switch stopped working on the drivers side. The passenger side still works. Also the illumination on the button itself from the green power wire.. That stopped working too lol.. Ive been meaning to undo my panels again and recheck the wiring now that I have a multimeter to help troubleshoot. If there was something I did wrong in my initial install I'll post an update.
I'm not sure why you only got the two pin connector wires? The passenger and driver wires were definitely different for me when I ordered them in early 2023.
