After finding out about pump and dump I started realizing how some coins jumped 100-500%
@7:51 that is not a “1minute pump”, that is a shake. It means that who owns most of the coins buys a lot and then sells a lot in order to get rid of all the sell orders. This way when the price goes up there will be less selling orders and the price will be free to go up

Spot on, I lost about $500 over 3 pump and dumps, and never made one penny.....when they call the signal its already up 100-500% then you buy and trying to sell is impossible as the price is dropping too fast....worth learning, and I am glad I never when in with more than $150 at a time.
My only quest is how u lost 500 dollars over 3 pumps if u were only doing 150 a pump

It could be, however the asset would likely be relatively illiquid or not have shorting available.

Wow - great vid - I tried one for kicks, and it seemed so rigged, and you could see the guys left behind trying to figure out how to dump their inflated coins. It's the wild west out there, everywhere you look.

there's vip pump signals where u pay and get the coin name 24 hours before that and you can then buy and sell either at highest points if you are quick enough or sell at a little bit lower rate but you could still make money, its just like a lottery.

@@laprofekaren I did it anyway. I bought some BTC as the target was a BTC pair. I lost a bit of money. I left the BTC there though. BTC was 25k at the time so it's gone up a fair bit. I used it to trade for other stuff and am up far more than I lost to the pump and dump. So there was a happy ending for me due to the bull market.

Yes but do not just check the volume..the lower the market cap of the coin/token the easily manipulated it is..that is why it is rare to see large cap/ middle cap coins being pumped and dumped
Pumo and dump doesn't work but it works for some people 😀😀😀. Some people have multiple wallets and buy their own coin to pump it and then sell it to idiots.

this video needs promoting. this sort of subject is mostly unknown to the people. and can easily be penetrated as a way to get money. there are still many countries without crypto law so these are actually easy to make (tokens). there are almost 500 shit coins listed daily on Binance.
Why not just buy when the price is low and use a sell limit order to half the usual pump

@@AfricanBeard 15 minutes before announcing the coin to pump. Scan market, specifically on BTC pair for unusual volume or sudden increase in price because that could be the stage the owners are buying.
@@yuenrafael9111 interesting. I see how that could work. I noticed some groups tend to execute the pump after 3 to 4 days after informing the group. I imagine the owners try to hide their purchasing or spread it out throughout those days to then dump on the due date. It's all interesting. Your tactic deffiently sounds feasible.

2.you can be really very quick and buy that coin before it has reached 100%
You can do these two things to avoid losses.

Owners buy coins before they announce it. Then there's the pump, where people buy regular sell orders from the order book. When the price reaches the owner's sell orders then they sell. A lot of people get stuck with the coins because not all of them sell at a loss. At this point the price is still higher than what it was before. Then arbitrageurs buy the coins from other exchanges and sell them on the exchange where the p&d happened. The price resettles to the original price.

Seems like all one needs to do is create the first REAL honest and fair pump and dump group, then do NO pre-pumping, be open and fair, and make sure to get everyone the best chance of profiting along with the "group owner." That way, the owner and the members gain wealth equally fast, and no one is scammed, screwed or disappointed. If 90+ % of these groups are run by greedy, unscrupulous owners, it could be very easy, and profitable, to create completely honest and fair groups and never screw your members over, building and keeping a good reputation. Imagine if the owner took his time, and shared all the knowledge and wealth 100% fairly. He'd still earn a lot of money, PLUS he'd sleep well at night and spread good karma to every person in his group.

You're being delusional.
There is no such thing as a "fair" pump. In order for you to win, someone has to lose, every single time.
It's also easy for other groups and whales to infiltrate the "fair pump group" and screw you up in a blink of an eye. You wouldn't be know it and your "fair pumpers" will loose money and you will be blamed.
Also, the higher the group, the harder there is to control it. If you are small, you have no power to move markets = the pump is useless.
So no, there is no such thing as "fair pump", wake up.
The ethical pump group would say: This is a gamble, do it at your own risk.
That's what I'd call a fair group and not delusional people.

The whole point of these things is that when you have a couple of thousand people participating, it only takes a few seconds to get the price up 100% or so. The owners of the group know this and so as soon as it hits the peak they’re already selling, and then everybody else starts selling. If you hold on for more than about 30 seconds after you buy, the price is already down often even below the point where it started in the first place.
I know this is probably a bad place but you know how all the gaming crypto is starting to be popular. Well I heard Gala coin is supposed to go off really soon.
