To achieve a net gain of 2% per trade, given that the stock price also increases by 2%, the trading fees would need to be 0%. This means that any non-zero trading fee will reduce your net gain below 2%. You would need a trading platform that charges 0% trade fees, or the stock price would need to increase by 4%, not 2%, per trade. Love your content, but a bit confused by your video buddy, because it's impossible to have a 2% net gain from a +2% stock movement.
Hey there, I have been trading for about 6 months now and just about every trade slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points . I try to do top down analysis and MTF analysis, but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take(I know, it sounds stupid but I was desperate) and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?
Your problem could be that your stop loss is way too close or you're watching your trades too much. Place it and walk away. Or you could just give up, trading isn't for everyone.
Don't let them discourage you, don't give up. Trading takes years to master, even the pros learn everday. Never the less, if you lose money no matter which side you take, maybe you need to look at how you are managing active trades rather than how you are entering them, moving stops to BE may help. My advice, find a mentor . And also, try incorporating the use of oscillators or rsi into your strategy to make your entries better and prevent overtrading. And most importantly move to higher TFs(4h or 1D preferably), you'll thank me later .
You're right, I don't lose money every single trade, but my main problem is trying to let my runners run. Very rarely do I catch big moves . Instead they go a few pips in my direction, then go against me if when I try holding them. Also my entries could use a lot of improvement. A mentor would be amazing, but getting one is easier said than done. If it's not too much, does any come to mind?
I think the most important thing you should know is staying away from the lower TF. Also, it's important to keep an eye on the environment too, ie DXY if it isn't doing too well or is a bit choppy, chances are dollar denominated pairs are in for a ride too. In this case, it's probably better to get in and out of your positions quicker
Also, I understand how tough it is to find a mentor because most institutional traders do not take retail traders seriously. The best advise is to get a mentor who has a PAMM account so they trade for you while you learn.

Nope,..al you may do automatic,..every trade may be like that, you of course may triger alarms to alert you when your positions are in action,..but it may be so silly (get 20-30 alarms in 1 hour???) when price go up 2-3 sell,..when fall 3-4 buy,..for every trade you may make this automatic trigers,..so you may do this for your prefered coins not only one.

I’m glad you mentioned the fees. I personally like this strategy a lot, but you need to make sure to clear enough to cover buy and sell fees. Especially if starting out with a smaller budget. Trading fees can be much higher for lower volume accounts, which can make catching a 2% gain slightly difficult.

This algo is just based on 50EMA setup on 15mins Timeframe, when the price moves away from the EMA with a sudden spike we take a trade against the spike because price always comes back to EMA. The truth is that BTC is so volatile that it's impossible to take right entry and even if you took right entry you really don't know when to exit.

Can you explain what is the leverage?
higher is leverage lower is your invested money,..higer is gain also loss,...if you dont have activated your stop loss,..example you decide to use 10% leverage,..you enter with 1000$,..your magin or invested money is only 100$. If price move 1% in your desired direction your gain is 10$,..or -10$,..but you no need to worry becouse your max liquidation limit is movement of price 10% (10x10=100%),..if you will use 50% leverage you invested money will be 500$ (1:2) but your liquidation renge now is only 2%,..if price goes in desired direction with 2% your gain will be 500$,..with stop loss you may limit your loss,.example 0,5%,..now your loss is only 125 not all invested 500.

I think you only pay tax if your net gain is positive, meaning you calculate all wins and loss on Dec 31, get the net, if positive you pay tax if negative you reduce your tax

Sell at a loss. This strategy won't work anyway as exchanges take 1% on both sides of the trade. There is your 2%, gone lol.
You use stop losses. And you short the trade if you think it will go down.
what about the trading commission. Like every time i buy and sell I pay a % to the platform

you always start with to identify trend,..then lover to 4H or 1H,. but it is not important,.when price triger your buy or sell positoin,..you may do this once or many times daily,..

It won't work. The exchanges take 1% on either side of the trade. You would need to make 4% per trade, a much taller order.

When reading with margin it is likely higher though so you’re right, as soon as you start any trade you are already down a percent or two (depending on how much you invest).
This along with taxes has to be faced in to your profit margins.
I used to do very quick $1000 trades using 100x margin and pocket $60 in a minute it two.
It’s very easy to win trades like that.
However after factoring in $18-$40 in fees plus another few percent to withdraw and another $10 to transfer your winnings your down to almost nothing and that’s before the government takes 30% of your profits.
Best to find out exactly what fees are charged in all cases and factor them into your trading plan.

yes, why not,..you have stop loss, you may exit at 0,5% for example,..if its go in desired direction you may get for 1% movement of price 5.000$ or 10.000$ (50 or 100 % leverage),..your risk is only 2500$

The label on the calculator is for years. What's being measured is the interval at which interest is accrued. Just imagine the "years" label as "trades", since the 2% interest is accrued at that interval, not years.

I dont understand why you people are so scare of leverage 50% or 100%??? You open position,..you do your TA and you follow trend 1% move of price may give you 50% or 100% of your initial investment,..but at same time you may control loss with SL,..and of course you may also compaund this,..no emotions, pure discipline.
If you enter a trade with 5000$ Margin on a 50x Leverage your total Value of the position will be 250'000$ Now the average taker fee is 0.05% which means your gonna pay instantly 125$ + potenital loss

This sounds feasible in principal, but in practice you will have at least a 1% spread on the purchase and a 1% spread on the sale so you need to make 4% on every trade in reality. Did you mention this?
This exactly is my question. If there is a spread on the ask price and then there is 1.5% net fee on the buy in the sell.We need to be at 4% minimum.Is this correct?
