Currently, the Heart of the Sea's sole purpose is for use in the crafting of conduits which are like underwater beacons that give players within its proximity buff effects. Once all the items are gathered, the player should combine the Heart of the Sea with the eight nautilus shells to make a Conduit. Then, they should build a frame underwater out of Prismarine. 8 nautilus shells and heart of the sea. To make it functional, you need a minimum of 16, and up to 42 prismarine or sea lantern blocks. Each ingredient has its own section. ( I hope you see this Mac! )[ I sound like a nerd 🤓]

You use heart of the sea to make conduits
you can make mud with a water bottle and dirt. Here's this for a idea take Mihai to "THE END" duhn duhn duhn. that heart of the sea is the core of a conduit. Activated conduits give water breathing and Night vision. A fully powered conduit is my favorite minecraft construction.

the heart of the sea is used to craft a conduit (1heart of sea and 8 nautilus shells) which gives water breathing, haste, and night vision. But for it to work you need 42 prismarine blocks. I hope this helps. 😊😊😊

Put the heart of the sea in the middle, and cover it with the shells to make a conduits, and cover with prismarine like block there you will get water breathing
If you find nautilus shells and surround the heart of the sea with them. It becomes a conduit, which you can activate by placing it underwater and surrounding it with any kind of prismarine in a ring kind of shape. When activated, it will give you a buff called conduit power. It gives you water related buffs like water breathing, mining speed underwater, and visibility underwater
