LIVE: Model Trains Hangout - On30 Scale (FEB 17, 2024)

This is my On30 scale layout called Tumblerock Canyon Railroad. It is O scale, running on HO scale tracks to simulate a 30-inch gauge between the rails. As such all the buildings and scenery will be in O scale and all the trains are narrow-gauge equipment. This layout will be an ode to the Oregon Country of the 1890s where logging, farming, and mining were king. The layout will be covered in forested hills and mountains, and the small town will be merely a whistle-stop for the local industries as passengers and cargo are transported to Portland to go further distances.

I'm glad to see you still do streams now and then. I don't know about adipsia but i would forget to take my medications without alarms for it. If you just have a phone ping or a timer on your computer you'll probably get used to it enough for them to fade into the background of your perception. It's a lot harder to ignore your pocket vibrating and making a loud noise, maybe because of how much more brain power vision takes up. Might I suggest Queen Mary's whistles as a hard-to-ignore alarm sound? lol
