Great video Pete. Wish more people would incorporate bamboo into their landscape. Being an edible plant guy, old hami is one of the best tasting of the bunch. Have about 10 plants along the west side of my house and it looks awesome! Thanks for the video.

Did each of those clumps come from one plant? I'm trying to grow some black bamboo to maybe make some cool looking furniture starting this year, out of over 150 seed I have gotten 3 seed to germinate and grow, that's really pathetic, maybe more will germinate, I hope it will. I think your project should look nice. Thanks Pete.

Just purchased some ice cream bananas from a Brazilian gentleman in Pinellas county, he cut the pups out with a sawzall, and I though that was such a perfect way to do it! Better for the roots, especially near the mature trees.

I was thinking of planting some bamboo in my garden but I fear that it would take over the entire spot and would be too much of a job to handle, keeping in mind I get to see few times my home because im in the army.
It takes some time to get established. A clumping variety should be easy to manage
