Lovely. The stairs went to either a bridge, or more likely, a old Mill House. They were usually built over creeks or rivers.
That is my idea of a fun day! What a nice place to shop for antiques and collectibles! That little town is adorable!
What an amazing little town. You just can’t beat an amazing creek! You guys need to go to the Worlds Longest Yard Sale through Tennessee. Lots of little towns like this, beautiful scenery and creeks galore.

They seem to charge as if they run antique shops. Shops pay taxes and rents, so they have to charge high, but in their own grounds..?
Can't imagine how many visitors got disappointed by the trip.
But I think the vendors on the lawn are out-of-town dealers; they probably do have stores with overhead to pay, plus they're schlepping their stuff back and forth to this location, so I can understand the prices aren't yard sale prices.

I thought the prices were a little high, although, I think Barb got a good deal on her bed cover. The area was beautiful, especially the creek! ✌🏼❤️
I love the display idea of having a little camper and the clothing line to display the linens. That would really draw people into the booth I think. Cut photo opportunity too.

That whole place was adorable! I felt like I went on a little journey back in time. Loved the creeks too. Sometimes getting out and seeing other places is worth it even if you don't bring back many items for resale- It makes for a good sightseeing video. Thanks for sharing!!

What a fun, wonderful way to spend a day! That creek brought back memories of when I was growing up but of course, being from Pittsburgh we called it a "crick".
And Barb, you're not the only one who gets easily turned around, I have no sense of direction & have literally been known to get lost walking around a corner.
I don't have a sense of direction either. I love Google maps!
I want to go to this quaint little town someday-when I'm living my retirement dream of RVing around the U.S. I went to the town facebook page and yeah, really want to go there some day.

I use a spoon for my ice cream as well. I do have ice cream scoops but I only use them for when I make cookies 😊
I love all the cute little towns you have in your area. I saw so many things I would live to have. It’s funny because I grew up with so much of that stuff. I was born in 1949 and we owned many of those things. WhY didn’t we keep them?
Was this a surprise yard sale that you didn't have money on you? I always try to have extra money on me whenever I leave the house in case cards aren't working for some reason.

Ha, that was so neat; when you picked up that small painting of some houses and a street about halfway through the video (the one that a bit surprisingly was priced at $25) I thought to myself how it looked like a Scandinavian street. Like something out of a memory of a summer day when I was a child (I'm Swedish). So when Barb read the back and it said Denmark I was like "I knew it!" 😂

I was at my local flea market on Sunday May 1st and found some awesome things and got some awesome prices. Then I found some garage sales and found some awesome things and got some more awesome prices. I signed up to reserve a spot at the flea market to get a spot. Fingers crossed that I can get a spot. My sister-in-law and I are going in together to sell things.
How wonderful. I still don't know what you got but I guess we'll find out shortly.

Barb, we put our ice cream in the microwave for about 15 sec and then use a regular spoon, like you, to dip it. :)

That was a nice flea market. Brings to mind the Warrensburg, NY garage sale weekend, but on a much smaller scale. That one is also a lot of fun.

Oh my...yep, when I see too much of what are to me, too high prices, then I just lose my mojo to keep going. Not that I would be expecting reseller or yard sale prices. But it just puts a wet blanket on my energy and interest. And there may be some good buys there but then how much will you want o keep looking?
This video reminded me of a local artisan community we have in Henry County, Illinois called, Bishop Hill. Established in the 1800’s, Bishop Hill is a largely Swedish community w Museums, gift shops, local potters, artisans & craftsmen. They have some amazing goods and a ton of history:):)
