I found a great way to clean outside windows in a jiffy. You need a swivel head mop of some kind. Mix together a pail of very hot water, dawn dish detergent, vinegar and jet dry (for dishwashers). I guess at the mixture. Wet the window and as fast as you dip your mop in the soap, swish over the window and rinse with hose very well it is sparkling clean. The jet dry keeps the windows from spotting. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do. It goes very fast.

Lots of bins, I don't feel so bad now, lol. I have red and green bins for Christmas, orange and black for Halloween, pink for Spring, solid red for Valentines Day and so on. I label what is in each on the outside. That's been working for us. My birthday is on October 29th hence I have a ton of Halloween but I love it all. Pick up some old PillowCases at the thrift store, to store your seasonal decorative pillows in, down in the basement...will keep them clean and dust free!

Tiffany love your channel . To keep your table leaf from warping try storing it flat . I stored mine under my bed . It is steady temperature and not to humid . We love you .😊

I also keep special outfits, T-shirt’s, and costumes for when I have grandchildren. I think it’s special that they will be able to wear their parent’s special outfit. Love getting to see how you store everything I have always wondered!! Quick tip, store the keep sakes high in case of flooding! Even in plastic bins if there is a small crack you could lose precious memories😢
Its difficult to find a spot to put the litter boxes, you're lucky they can go in the basement. Love your decor collection

You’re so lucky you have such a big basement . A place for storage and a future rec room ! My 98 year old moved into my finished basement and I miss my storage areas ! Oh well for now I try to keep organized in the garage and back room ! I saw you already had a man in the moon plaque ( here I sent you a DIY for it ) oops!! I have a young friend (my oldest daughter’s best friend- they are both 40), whose goal is to fill up 2 boxcars with seasonal decor, especially Christmas decor, she has 1 boxcar full and working on filling the other one 😂 And after 41 years of marriage, I have given away a lot of my seasonal decor to our children and friends or donated it, now I have about half of 1 garage wall (the long wall of course) filled with seasonal decor instead of 1/2 of our garage filled - the garage is 32’x42’, and I can now put my SUV n it!
I giggled through this because it turned out less of an edit and more of an inventory and that's exactly how it goes when I dig into these types of projects! However, I was terrified that you'd run into a spider or a snake down there behind one of your bins. You are so much braver than me!! This was a fun change for a video and I really enjoyed it.

I wish I had your basement. Or any basement. I don’t have near as much decor as you. Because I have nowhere to store it. I used to decorate for everything. But since we moved into this small house I don’t. I think I have one box for Halloween stuff in the house. The Christmas stuff I have is in our shed. That’s the only holiday I decorate a lot for. And I’ve given some things to my daughters. It was given to me by my husband’s aunt. She was everyone’s favorite. She passed years ago. But now they have something to remember her with. And I still have stuff too. I can’t wait until fall. I need some cooler weather. I know it won’t be for a few months here. But I can’t wait. Schools here already started on August 1st. I think that’s too early.

I have booths i resell home decor and furniture from so i have triple the amount of stuff that i need to have. Now that we're entering Fall, I've pulled all my items to sell but I need to downsize my personal decor and then start on Xmas asap. Time to declutter and get it organized once and for all!

Hi Tiffany, thanks for sharing this with us. Personally when I look at this I think of all the money and time that is spent in managing it. At my stage of life that is not for me. I’m trying to get rid of things so my children are not left with so much to manage or get rid of. This is in no way A judgement on you. You need to do what makes you happy. Wasn't the weather here oppressive??? I actually put a portable A/ C in my garage this year. Acts as a dehumidifier and cools off the basement as I have been working on basement/garage clean out and organization this summer.

I hate to get rid of decor. Even with the sales it’s an investment. If I don’t use this year, I may use it next year. You just never know.
