The Red Green Show: Classic Comedy Television That Continues To Charm Distributed exclusively by space-mob.com
I loved watching Red Green. The best show EVER.
This show was pure gold.
A lot of the writing improved in later seasons but these quiet little character segments early on were some of my favorites.
I know that the comedy behind this is all about the way Dougie nonchalantly tells the story, but who wouldn't want to _see_ everything he described happen on-camera? It sounds awesome!
Too right
@ezzz9 that said I'd settle for a red-green budget reproducing!
@ezzz9 dunno, the imagination is always better.
I was picturing it all in my head and laughing my butt off!
It was a man's program. Whole premise of the show. "I am a man. But I can change. If I have to. -I guess...." Funny it was shot in Canada. Feminism is a lot stronger there than the US. (Had people who lived both places tell me that.) Noticed it first hand when I visited there.
Please don't go keeling over, Uncle Red.
We need you...
Good ol Red Green love this show
Back when drinking and driving was funny lol
Every day should be a learning experience !
Lol I ran over them BMW's!
one of my favorite scenes from the show! Good to see ya comin out with new projects as well!
I sure did. I rose above all of em! 😅
This is the best clip of all
How'd he miss the Porsches and the Audi's? They're usually congregated together with the BMWs. 😂
Yeah I've seen them all together In the parking lots outside them fancy private country club, golf courses. Just like on them nature films showing wildlife at an African watering hole. They do like to congregate.
OMG! The keel over after the last tour bit! Too much considering...
I miss this character, he kind of vanished later on in the show.
He's the great singer/songwriter, Ian Thomas. Check out "Painted Ladies" 1973.
He almost looks like Rickys dad from Trailer park Boys
2:44 Everything is a big experience lol said every guy with a lifted truck
I own a BMW and support this message.
Did Ian Thomas ever sing on the show?
That is Canadian Musician Ian Thomas ....
He reminds me of dat 1 uncle dats got war stories for days. But has never been in da service hahaha.... but u just laugh listening to his lies haahha.
No, that guy was Hap Shaughnessy. Check out some of Red Greens clips with him in them
@@jeremyboyle5695 your spot on about dat.
This is an early one, Red got no grey hair.
SHIT happens!
POSSUM LODGE
Hahaha!
Don't keel over just yet Red! It would be an honor to see you do a collaboration with Derek from Vice Grip Garage. He also has a fondness for Saskatchewan Chrome or as us little people call it, Duct tape.
First comment! Love your vids man!
Neither funny or interesting. This is well below all your other videos I have seen and which caused me to subscribe. I guess you are having a down day.
Usually it's a Mustang
That is unfair. Mustangs might now down 9 people at a car show (mumbles idiotically standing at the exit where they know people are going to peel out at) but they certainly don't take out 9 cars.
Yep. During height of monster truck craze. I remember
Red you can't keel over. You're too important!
Clone him, so he can keep going and have his show in America.
I've been watching Red and the bunch for 25 years now. Red's kind of like that crazy uncle you never wanted and I'm that same kind of man. Keep your stick on the ice!
Or as another crazy Canadian says 'Keep your dick in a vise' AvE and Red you just got to love em.
If you get a chance to see his show, take it..
I am fortunate to be old enough that I started following on his first season.. awesome talent
You know what makes the character Red Green? His lodge has some of the goofiest characters you ever will see...nerds, felons, gun crazed lunatics, and on and on...and he literally lives like “meh, you do you, welcome to the lodge”
Dougie is played by Ian Thomas the singer/songwriter, he is as funny as his brother Dave Thomas.
I remember this show as a young teen and LOVED it.
Canadian Rambo....
The character is actually american - which is why he says "miles and hour" instead of "Km an hour".
Great Northern Badass eh. ..
Great Great show he is the best we are laughing so so hard and all of his friends and the whole cast and behind the scenes we love red green and the N.H.L. hockey great great Canadian hockey players retired and active .
Reality hits you hard bro
I'm not subscribed to any podcasts. I will be now that it's June.
I really miss the old days when staying up really late and watching this show. Used to watch this and Home Improvement at like 3am. Good times.
2 of the best show's ever.......
Really glad to hear about the podcast. Going nuts not being able to go anywhere. It will be most welcome.
I like that character. Would like to see more if him.
Can’t wait for the podcast!
I knew a couple real life Doughy Franklins 🤣 God I miss Skip and Nate RIP
whats the difference between a BMW and a cactus? Cactus has its pricks on the outside...
Red Green!!!!
Oh wow a scratch on the oil pan I hope he called his insurance company for that his new insurance company
Dude reminds me of Tommy Lee Jones actor
He's Ian Thomas, the younger brother of Dave Thomas (of "SCTV"). Ian's a singer-songwriter, whose biggest hit was "Horse With No Name".
If you don't love Red Green, you aren't Canadian. Hand in your citizenship!I miss Hap Shaughnessy . I think he was my fave.
Montrose was my favorite.
I was hoping I could be a Honorary Canadian....But, Canadians are too smart for that....
Dougie sounds like Lee Majors
