The Full Length Original Haunted Mansion Soundtrack

- This is the original soundtrack to Disney's The Haunted Mansion Ride in Disneyland. This is the last copy of the original soundtrack on file. I cannot upload this from my iPod as iTunes does not support the file and the source file I retrieved it from has since been corrupted from the original site. In the interests of preserving this historic and classic soundtrack, I have recorded this from my iPod.
This is the chronological order of 98% of all the soundbites that the imagineers use for each individual part in the ride and play them on a loop. The only 2% of the soundbites that are missing are the mansion bride saying "I do...I did..." and the groundskeeper who says "Hello...Is someone there?" All copyrights go to Disney

Shame they removed much of the dialogue that made this seem like a guided tour, especially Madame Leota's introduction. It made the attraction seem more cohesive. What they did with the attic certainly did not help. In fact, it feels like they were forcing an unfitting story in that one scene.
Wasn't that originally unused and only added back in the 90s?

My favorite caption has to be the first time I saw a CC person write "SPLAT!" as a bad guy got tossed off a building & landed on the ground. The Splat! caption just about made me PMSL!
my dad still has this on tape, and i think he made a CD with it too, but it wasnt the ride. there was a couple who got lost and ended up staying at the haunted mansion
“The haunted mansion story and song” it was a record that came out when the ride opened as promo material. Got released on cd and cassette later. You can find the full thing on RUclips pretty easily

Makes me a little sad that they took some of the dialogue out of the ride especially Madam Leotas' monologue you don't hear the first part of it even if you play it on a loop they took that part out as well sad but still a great rife and I'm glad that there is one final copy of the original left to hear I guess they used this when it first opened in 1969

@@pyntaman-7410 The Ghost Host/narrator is none other than Paul Frees. Buddy Baker is the composer and organist for the rides soundtrack. I believe he created the soundtrack in 1967 or 1968 since the ride opened in '69 and most of his work in the park was started in '64. Thurl Arthur Ravenscroft is voice of the lead ghost in Grim Grinnjng Ghosts.

@@pyntaman-7410 The first mansion was in Disneyland in 1969. Followed by a second mansion in Orlando in '71. There are at least two other mansions. HM Japan was opened in 1983 and Phantom Manor in Paris was opened in 1992.
Splendid!This version is beautifuly use in Silent Hill 3.Nice gesture,even in SH3 is this more creepier.

Play Silent Hill 3-the movie,1:16:20-1:19:30.Of course,that version is slightly diferent,but who knows this original,he recognized it instantly.And he´s enjoying as well!
