I rebuilt my first gen 1964 Super Cub C102 in a similar manner. Interesting to see which parts are the same and different. I replaced my Honda 50cc electric start & kick, pushrod, 3 speed, semi auto with a brand new Lifan 125cc electric start & kick, OHC, 4 speed, semi auto. Bolted right in place; got all new plastics and components bulk shipped together from Malaysia for a great price. Used a pit bike wire harness for ignition, charging and starting systems. Used parts of original harness for lighting. Used an AC cdi so engine can be kick started, no matter the condition of the 12v DC system. Used 12v DC system for lighting and LED bulbs to always have bright lights, no matter engine speed. Converted everything from 6v to 12v. Kept my original handle bar switches by wiring them to the new harness. Pit bike key switch fit the hole in the side cover like original. Was amazed by the low prices of all the components and how much it is all standardized.
Love everything , great Job , i added a like to this video months ago but didn't comment, i am in Japan and have a C50(custom) , so 99% the same except for that rack. In Japan I have no garage or space to work, but i did almost all of what this video shows in my livingroom upstairs(minus chrome work, and my lady chose a light baby blue color) ... anyways i love the Honda Custom bikes, even hard to find in Japan(no one sells).
Jason Sonic , perhaps it's time import there old Japan bikes parts ! You export a lot ! Tell me what you want from c50 Dax Chaly or cf50 > drchrist2000@yahoo.gr
I was about to ask about if you had the side cases polished, but I read in the comments you had them powder coated, they look stunning, I'm replacing clutch in mine soon, so I'm going to get mine done at the same time , fantastic video mate, well done
They were great motorcycles. I wish they still made them.

Es increíble la restauración que hizo de esta C90 ícono mundial del motociclismo global, es una pequeña Gran Moto qué pena que no se fabrique más!
Fantastic!!!

This was seriously 'hard-core' rebuilding! I would never take-on a project like this...starting with nothing but skeletal trash!
The engine cases are not chrome I had them powder coated with a chrome like finish.
Boundary 500 Motorcycle Group what did you use to get them powder chrome finished
how have you chrome plated everything?
Quiero saber el predio de lamotoya
