Wow so LiSA's debut as Anisong singer was Angel Beats? Ah that made sense since I only ever know LiSA after she sang AB songs. Angel Beats' songs are truly masterpiece, there's no denying it
I get where Jun is coming from - LiSA's vocals were so good that it really did make Yui's character seem to be superior than her senpai Iwasawa, especially since Yui was the one looking up to her senpai. That's not to say Marina was bad at singing; but LiSA was definitely too good for the kind of character I expected Yui to be before she took over GDM. But more so than that, Angel Beats was definitely a great starting place for LiSA to show off her talent.
Ooh, this is finally subbed; more people can know about this story, which always made me chuckle. It's like "damn, she got better since the auditions" "Hey can you sing that part worse?" :P Been one of my favorite Angel Beats stories for years.

I feel like most voice actors can sing pretty well but they still do it even nowadays, like Ya Boy Kongming where 96neko is the singing voice instead of Kaede Hondo. Nothing wrong with LiSA's Ichiban no Takaramono but I'd love to hear Eri Kitamura's version if there is one
