How Chasing Followers Scientifically Makes You Unhappy | Creator Week 2022

I was invited to speak at Meta's Creator Week 2022. They wanted me to talk about the future but I wanted to talk about the trap of chasing followers.
This is what I wanted to tackle in my speech:
- How the IG algorithm doesn’t reward quality but rather rewards mass appeal
- How chasing followers is scientifically designed to make you unhappy.
- And how I balance the business need to grow followers with creating for myself for my own sanity
