@Dave Smith Thank you for your reply. There is a lot of truth in your statement. My only point is that, for example, it would be unlikely for an Olympic Swimming Champion to emerge from the population of Eskimo people living in the very far North, or, for a brilliant machinist to rise from a country where there has been no industrialization. As for Beethoven, well, there may been individuals capable of such achievement but if they existed 10,000 years ago there would have been no piano, there would have been no piano industry and, hence, no genius for the piano.
children can take it all easy that momentum and rhythm is what will help them enjoy life and their talents, they choose whatever pace, whatever refrain or situation, it will only add to their youth-standing the tests of time.
Man this is weird - your comment was switched with the nox one from my video. A youtube bug apparently
Wow
the first piece is gorgeous & the young man is a prodigy -- it's obviously bach -- anybody know name of piece?
Hear at 6:56. Perhaps he says "Concert number 10 c minor, Johann Sebastian Bach".
thank you @@JoachimMink

Quel talent!
competitions weaponize the instrument the exact opposite of that which first inspired the music its a joke
I tend to agree. And in the thumbnail, the boy's eyes look exhausted.
You need to get out more... They are perfectly healthy, they are not 20 to 30 pounds overweight. Dark circles in Eastern folks is natural, it is a genetic trait, and they are not wearing makeup on stage with bright lights. It is shameful to pick on these children and their parents...Envious trolls, why are you here? Self inflicted pain? Ridiculous comment.
Gospode, pa ova đeca sviraju bez nota? Koliko milijardi nota moraju naučiti napament?
Imat dobra pamet. Muzikanti.

Who is the violinist with the top knot on his head¿ Is he a part time Samurai swordsman¿
"Stage Mothers", or Tiger Moms can do great things- in this case, I think they've gone too far. The dark circles under the eyes give it away.
I had dark circles when I was a child; this was genetic, not due to overwork. I excelled in academics and was respected for athletic ability. Dark circles may indicate health issues, but not necessarily so.

OMG...Bless that little boy's heart....he looks like he is unwell! I've never seen such dark circles like that under a child's eyes....he performed brilliantly though! Hope he's OK. Did anyone else notice how horribly DUSTY (with hand and finger prints ) the top of that piano was ....there were a couple of shots of the audience where you could see the propped up lid clearly with prints all around it....You'd think with a International competition that they would have made sure that the piano used was clean and shiny!
I would rather concentrate on the music.

Young talented musicians.
Ana Warner, do not try to impart the superiority of the Russian people to the rest of the people
All nations have their talents. Russia is a huge country, so their total number is bigger.
Music has to unite people, not divide them on an ethnic basis.
There are other large countries that produce limited talent... Size is irrelevant. Culture and arts have to be sponsored, funded and encouraged by gvt or they don't thrive.

Ryan plaays beautifull but he needs to cut out the drama!
Chopin is dramatic. Drama is what is necessary to make the piece work!
Why?
I think we people that criticize need to look within for the cause of the critical spirit.
