    Cole,
    Don’t want to harp, but please, please wear your PFD while solo kayaking even in the shallows. You never know when you might tip over on a submerged stump, or cypress knee and could in the fall, hit your head. I know that seems extreme, but tragedies do happen. Please promote safe boating,
    Love your vids!

      The place is clogged with tree debris. It's hard to find any shoreline that isn't absolutely full of sticks and limbs. Some of the places I've seen are so bad that you can't even find a place to cast without dropping your hook directly into wood. No joke, it's so much that it messed up something in the dam and it needs to be fixed properly.

    TOTALLY OFF SUBJECT OF THIS but I have a Monarch and he is missing a forewing. ☹️ Any suggestions on how to get a wing to hopefully do a transplant? But I also am not sure if he has anything to connect it to. I’m feeding him on my flowers but it’s going to get cold soon and I feel horrible to just let him die. Any suggestions?

    • @COLE_and_JAY
      @COLE_and_JAY  11 месяцев назад

      I had an old mounted monarch specimen that I used on the one I had with the damaged wing. I saw a video where someone used a feather as an artificial wing. You could cut it to size and try or you could use the wing or a different deceased buttery and maybe modify it if you have to make it the same size as your monarchs!

    • @NaturesEscapes
      @NaturesEscapes 11 месяцев назад

      @@COLE_and_JAY I went to our local zoo insectarium and they would not help or offer a deceased wing. 😞 so I went and picked him up some new flowers and when I got back he was gone. He was resilient. He stayed with my garden for 4 days and I couldn’t get our zoo OR butterfly house to help. They “scream” out on signs of helping monarchs but failed when it came to them helping. “Buddy” took this decision out of my hands. I’m a huge animal/bug lover of all creatures large and small. I hope he’s out there making his way to Mexico by foot. Thank you for responding but unfortunately I wasn’t able to help him like I wanted to. ☹️
