I haven’t heard this song in at least a decade. Takes me back to being a senior in high school, just walking around the school talking to my girlfriend at the time a few days before christmas. She introduced me to this song and gave me a burned cd which, in my young love, I listened to on repeat all Christmas break. The last couple of seconds really hit hard and it brings back all those raw adolescent feelings where you thought your love was invincible. Things didn’t work out as they often dont at that age and I haven’t thought of her in years but this song will always take me back to those cold nights walking with my heart thumping, so excited, so happy and young and in love or whatever you think love is at 17. To be young again 😞

Well, the only way a song about Christmas can actually be good as opposed to sloppy, sappy, cloying and icky is to be alternative, that's the whole point I'd say, Name me an actual good Christmas song beyond 2 obvious ones.

I was watching the 11th Hour with Brian Williams just now, and, at the end of his show, he said he wanted to give thanks and credit to the incredible crew that produced his show each night, and urged his viewers to watch as the credits rolled. So they showed skaters at Rockefeller Center while the credits rolled against the backdrop of this song. At the end he thanked everyone for watching and thanked the Ravonettes for the use of their song. A very classy act on his part and a great song to add for the season.
Such an emotionally packed Christmas song. Im a very Macho Guy,....yet....it brings me near to Tears, when ever I hear it. It's Christmas, it's Romantic, it's Warm and Cozy, and It's just a very Magical piece of music. The Guitar Hooks are ingenious. When ever any song, can make you emotional.....you know....that it is a Master Piece of sound and lyrics. Their voices, their lyrics and their unique sound, could Crush even the Hearts of the Grinch or that of Scrooge. Pass me a Kleenex! lol LOVE IT!
