I grew up in south jersey. my father was a chemical engineer for duponts and met my mother there. my dad passed in the late 80's. I still have family in the area and a cousin who is a cop in penngrove. It hurts my heart to see what has happened there and sadly its not a one off happening to many places across the country. thank you for sharing. btw we resided in mantua growing up and my father was not only an engineer but deputy mayor and public saftey director until his untimely passing. this would really sadden him.

Thank you for your videos on towns throughout Salem county. My husband and I are enjoying them. I was raised in Salem county and left New Jersey years ago. The memories sure are nice.

Thank you for your comment! We don't want to have the channel be just about roads and stuff. We really enjoy driving through South Jersey and learning about these forgotten places. We have more coming up in the future: Pennsville, Salem, Bridgeton and Millville. Stay tuned!

Nice overview of a town that has unfortunately fallen on hard times. Also, good job showing how the bank looks now and then.

Thank you for your response. PG is one of those places that is kind of forgotten and unrepresented which interested us. Yeah- that old bank is really cool. It's really sad to see what's happened to Penns Grove.
